    The majority of people in the show, and plus the background people are usually pretty stylish, it makes vegas look more glamerous than it actually is.

    started my packing today...not flying till the 30th!!! but started getting stuff together

    11 days till we go to Vegas stopping at the ballagio for a week then 1 week in Hawaii staying at the Hilton in Waikiki beach then 2 nights in San Francisco 6 more working days togo bring it on

    thanks to evenryone on this vegas thread so many have helped me last year and this yearwith hints and tips and all the links on page one this being my 2nd time to vegas:beer:

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who starts packing a fortnight before we fly...my husband teases me mercilessly. The same husband who throws stuff in his case the night before we leave.
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    just saw the very last few minutes of A Place in the Sun on Channel 4 and it seemed that Vegas was one of the places they were looking at buying a property...so am now recording it on Channel 4+1...just in case anyone else is interested!

    We fly on the 30th too from Manchester, not starting packing but keep finding clothes and putting them to one side.:j
    A bit concerned by the comment that there could be a strike by baggage handlers so fingers crossed that doesn't happen.:mad:
    Just looking to book a coach tour to Grand Canyon anyone got any recommendations please?
