I also see your debt total has gone under £150k. Well done!
Thank you everyone for your well dones re dd. Chocforever, my debt is even better now, I just haven't updated it and wont till the weekend. It will be less than £149K in total. Of that my credit card debt is less than £30K, when I started this journey it was over £36K and it took a while to stop using the cards hence the relatively slow progress given we are two years on. I was too embarrassed at the time to detail it separately and thats why I do a grand total of everything. That all said , the use of credit cards is no more and I have a modest snow ball plan in place..
So, dd woke up this am, Hello Golden child I say what would you like for brekkie? Oh ok golden child. Come on golden child we need to go, Farewell golden child , see you later...Oh mum you are funny. To say dd is happy is an understatement. All last year virtually every week, oh mum I didn't get the golden child award. I just dont know what to do. Look dont worry I say, you are doing your best and Im very proud of you and as long as you try your hardest no one can ask more of you. Ok mum. This year at the group parents eve at the beginning of the school term, we find out that in each school year every child should have been awarded the golden child certificate at least once, and dd had not. So, dd is on top of the world and so am I for her as I am sure it will help her confidence and just knowing her teacher is happy with her does wonders...for both of us in fact. The last 18 months at the school have not been without the challenges with the Social services saga and the difficulties with the Head but I sense that this year dd and I have turned a corner, and with the Head more understanding and a different teacher I am hopeful we can both move on confidently..
Planning to collect lots of orders today. A dear customer texted me to say Id forgotten to collect her catalogue. I was horrified and apologised profusely. Went to collect it and there was a £55 order! I have another £120 to put through, so thats £175 before I've started today. Have felt q tired so haven't done as much this week. Plan to catch up tomorrow and Mon so my target for this next 4 weeks is to match if not exceed my excellent results I achieved during the last 4 weeks. My accountants fees can be paid and tax return finalised and that will be a weight off my mind. I like everything to be upstraight and in order. From the half term onwards I plan to get back into ebay leading up to Christmas. So a lot to be positive about. I just need to pray I don't fall as the weather gets colder and the eves draw in and I need to keep working on my self development, lose the anger I feel towards my family that surges to the fore from time to time. Thats it for now...My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

So, yesterday was a v proud moment at dd's assembly. I know it seems pathetic but I did have a little cry. Dd kept looking over at me and saying I love you and I mouthed it back and gave her the thumbs up and thenI realised I better stop doing that otherwise we could be "told off"!!!
Cashflow for bills etc pending is in control.
Feel v blessed as the lady from the charity - Family Support Work - came over to see me this week, gave me my usual come on dear you are doing well, I believe in you type conversation... I wouldn't be coming to see you still if I didn't feel you needed or deserved it. You are amazing and we want to help you and support you.. Tearful stuff really. One day I say to her I will be able to repay your kindness, one day...And in truth I need to see her. She does help me believe Im doing the right thing. She came with a food parcel which will be extremely helpful, keep the food bills down. We now have pasta and rice and also some toothpaste and biscuits. Now biscuits I just don't usually buy so dd is in heaven! I suppose it makes a change from my fairy cakes!! Also some tins of soup which will keep me warm at lunchtime in the winter months ahead. So, thank you to her ..
Re the halifax complaint I recd an up to date mortgage statement yesterday. no compliment slip or anything to confirm that it is from the woman who called me last week trying to tell me my mortgage wouldn't reduce because I had been in arrears even though the mortgage was up to date! Two entries are circled for some reason. I think she has the complete wrong end of the stick with the complaint if indeed the statment has been sent by her because there is no explanation as to why these two entries are circled and I have no idea why they would be either. They prove nothing regarding my outstanding complaint whatsoever. Me thinks the least she could do is write an explanation as to why she has highlighted them and in the process marked my statement. In my days in the bank we were never , absolutely never allowed to mark a customers statement. So, will wait and see...It is just one more development in this complaint I am prepared to take to the financial ombudsman if I have to!!!
Finally, updated my signature. Now under £149K, very nearly approaching paying off 10% of my LBM debt which feels me with huge confidence as I am finding my feet with it all and I know being df, mortgage free and everything free in just over 9 years is realistic with the progress Ive made this year in particular and how with my snowball plan the debt will decrease quicker as time goes and I believe it could be quite possible I beat my 9 and a half year target..
Dd is still asleep and its 9.30am! Have slept for 10 hours myself last night! Am going to do some washing and potter around doing housework bits until she wakes up before we get dressed for the day. I treated ourselves to some kippers and bacon, so its kippers on toast or bacon and eggs for brekkie or brunch!. A relaxing weekend otherwise is in store. Have felt tired myself this week, haven't of course seen myself walk but have felt Ive been walking not so well. Ive been taking my time doing things so as to not fall. and I need to listen to my body so Im able to keep going next week....I want to see if I can exceed £1K in sales! I will, I will, I will! I want to maintain the momentum of the last 4 weeks. It was great to get a bonus that covered my mortgage in its entirety! My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Looking good, PaF (apart from the Hellifax issues). I'm glad to hear you are getting enough sleep, too, as we all know how not having enough can be a real issue for you.

Fantastic result, the bonus covering your mortgage! Keep on at the Halifax problem. Well, a development on the family front..
In the car after I had collected dd from my parents last eve, dd told me that granny had said I was spoilt! What do you mean I ask dd. What did granny say exactly, can you remember? She said you were spoilt because she pays for my horse riding lessons. Right I say, thats it. You need to be able to enjoy your time with granny and grandpa without them saying things like that to you. You should not be the piggy in the middle. You are only 8!
After thinking about it, I have sent a text to mum, our now normal way of communicating. Thanking her for paying for the horse riding lessons but suggesting she leaves it from now on. The reasons being she had been the one to offer to pay for dd, I had not asked so to tell a little 8 year old her mummy was spoilt seemed unnecessary, secondly, I had found it increasingly hard to enjoy taking dd to horse riding after mum's revelation that she does it because I give dd a "dreadful" life so perhaps it was for the best that it didn't continue anyway. Lastly, I had found it uncomfortable that it was possible my neices and nephew were not benefiting from such help from my parents with their pastimes and that didn't sit easy with me if that was the case. So, thank you very much for the lessons you have paid for but lets leave it from now on.
I haven't heard anything. She may well tell me I am rude when I next see her, that seems to be the way it is if ever I have an opinion. I am rude. But on the plus side I feel free. Dd has a lesson booked in a couple of weeks which I will pay for but with the winter drawing in its likely she wouldn't have as many lessons anyway, and I may be in a better position to continue them next year but if not, its not the end of the world. Dd has a varied & interesting life, she is certainly not hard done by. Well, I like to think so anyway... Im taking her to Care for Carers this eve so that will be lovely. Shes made some great friends there so that is a positive in both our lives...
Picked up some fantastic orders yesterday. £30/£40 a time. There are people out there spending, its just a case of finding them!! Just about to place my order, think its nearly £600 which will beat my target of £500 and puts me on track to exceed £1K sales by the end of the week. Given my walking is not what it should be and I seem to take longer to do everything this is indeed a miracle and I thank on high for it all...My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

WELL DONE on getting those sales. It must be very validating that all these people are willing to buy things off you confident that you will fulfill the order in a timely manner. Pity your family can't see that.
i too would be worried about the lessons if your DD is being singled out. It can damage relations with siblings if people get jealous...
Ref the walking and worrying about falling. Are there any preventative measures you can put in place so lower the risk of falling? I obviously don't know for sure what the issue is, but, for example could you do muscle strengthening exercises to protect joints etc? Or is there a way of changing your physical environment to minimise the dangers of falling?
Sorry if that is a bit random, I just thought if you thought about it before the weather gets really bad, you could plan that as well as you plan other areas of your life....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
