I've got this pair of black Levi 501's, still as new condition, I bought in 1996 that I almost put on ebay, but there still in the wardrobe. Hoping I will be able to wear them comfortably again before I'm done loosing weight
  • Weighed in this morning and have stayed the same which is good considering the amount of junk I have eaten over the weekend.

Well courtesy of Porcine Influenza I will not be able to get out this week and weigh myself! (still too heavy for the bathroom scales - grrrr) - ah well only another week () and I will be setting Augusts challenge off and I can hopefully start over then :D

Well done to all the rest of you though (and do you think I could shift 56 pounds in a year? :o:p)

56 pounds in a year - yep most definitely!

Im aiming to shift another 35 lbs by Christmas.
  • Hi all!

You mind if I join back in? I know it's late in the month, but I just got back from hols on Saturday!

We got engaged while we were away (:j:j) - so the last few days have been manic - went down to visit OH's parentals and break the news, then went ring shopping, just had the girls over for dinner - so think that should be everything about back to normal!

Mexico was amazing - I fitted into my dress just nicely, and the wedding went as well as it possibly could have!! I hereby swear I will never wear another pair of suck me in pants as long as I live though!

Weighed in this morning, and there's not been too much damage - I've only put on 1 lb! (:j) - I've no idea how I managed it, when I definitely made the most of the "free" booze and food - but I won't complain!!

So I now weigh a grand total of 10stone 1lb - hopefully I'll finish the month at least 1lb or 2 less!!

Hope you've all been well whilst I was away? (***** runs off to catch up on the thread ******)

    xx

OH will have it with crispy roast potatoes and some crusty hot bread and butter. I will have half a chicken breast on its own.

Thats the only way Im going to lose weight and Im determined that by Christmas I shall be a size 12 :)

Hethmar - hats off to you! I'm really inspired by your determination - I only have to worry about what I eat never mind a full family, and I still don't always get it right - I'm so impressed that not only are you driven enough to make sure you're eating the right foods yourself - but that you're able to do it whilst you're actively feeding your family the food you can' have!!

Good luck on your weight-loss mission! You deserve to get to that size 12 - and I'm sure you will! ;)

    xx

Quite right too re the ring! I did the same thing when I got engaged :rotfl:

Um no to the calories :o I have swine flu and don't want to eat 'cos it makes me sick - so surviving on soup and bread! (and not "cream of" soup at that!)
