Also caught by this scam.
After the trial arrived which I couldnt use very well. No instructions. Forgot about it and then an amount of £51.08 appeared on credit card statement from Ultifreshwell in Cyprus. I rang and cancelled the card and they refunded the amount thankfully. I have had one more tube delivered but have not been in touch with them. Just wondering if as they cannot steal anymore money from me should I leave it?
Any suggestions welcome. After reading lots of peoples experiences it seems like momentum is gathering and hopefully these fraudsters will get shut down.
I forgot to say when I first applied it said you only pay £1.99 for the postage. They actually charged £7.41.0 -
I have been conned too but quickly got in and after speaking to someone on livechat who kept telling me he couldnt cancel the trial as it had been shipped I told him I had only done it 5 minutes ago and that it couldnt possibly be processed yet. he eventually after an hour told e he had master cancelled the whole account and confirmed i would not be shipped or charged anything further.
I rang Lloyds Tsb to cancel my debit card but I have read they could still take money out as direct debit, not sure if that is true so rang TSB and the guy says he doesnt think they can take any money out of my account if I havent authorised it but as the terms and conditions might have something in it that covers the scam artists he cant gaurantee this  I am thinking of cancelling my account completely.
I have tried ALL DAY to try and get hold of someone at dazzle but it just keeps ringing. I hve been on live chat for the best part of a day even tho tjhey keep cancelling it (now I cant get on it so dont know if I am blocked lol)
I am really worried now. I have cancelled the trial so shouldnt get that but they are still charging me the $11.90! which they say is non refundable but they havent shipped it to me?
I am angry, upset and worried that they might still be able to take more out of my account. does anyone have an email address for tsb so i can cover my back there?MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

I too have been conned, healthsmile took $11.90 from my account on the 7/10 and today Evezbeauty (well I think that's what the bank lady said) have taken £53.37.
I have just cancelled my visa debit card with HSBC but they advise that the amount has already authorised and will be leaving my account anytime now.
I then have to wait 3~4 working days before calling the helpline to fill in a fraud report.
I can't understand why the bank is unable to stop this transaction, all she kept saying was that the transaction has already been authorised.
I am sooooooo cross with myself for getting sucked into this. I am usually so very careful. And all in the name of vanity too!0 -
I firstly told the bank that i lost my card and that payment was not authorised and they said they cant cancel whats already there, I am thinking to cancel my bank account but its my main bank accountMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

its soooo much hassle to cancel it, but i have done all i can to cancel with dazzle but i am worried that there is some affiliate that will still slip through the net, i have cancelled my card so surely they cant get money from that number anymore? I did not give my cc number to anyone other than dazzlewhite or dazzlesmile or whatever they are called.
I am sooo peed off, have spent all day trying to sort this out!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

this is there T&Cs, it says about privacy policy so how come other companies are charging consumers other than dazzlesmilepro?
Am i missing something?
I got through finally tonight to be told my trial is being shipped to me when I was told yesterday that it wasnt!
I wonder if anyone has a phone number for BTB mailflight Bedford so I can call them and tell them not to deliver it and send it back, it will cost me further money to send it back!!

I found staff at TSB contradicted each others info. Telebanking staff said I would be ok if just the debit card was stopped/replaced. The staff in the branch then had me sweating again when they said the bank wouldn't be able to stop 'direct debits' from companies with different names (dazzlewhite has MANY affiliates if what I've read on other blogs is to be believed) I was always under the impression a direct debit is a written authorisation that I have to complete and sign (a mandate?) for someone to draw payment from my account - not so according to bank. The bank can't stop any payment 'pending' - you will probably find your postage charges with them will clear in about three working days - pounce then. You've done the main thing and cancelled your Dazzlewhite subscription - very important though phone and cancel World Club Fitness (it's the one that sneaks in as a freebie on the initial order and probably the one that keeps sucking the bank accounts of money?). I think this scam preys on people who may not catch on in the very early days following the inital order ie by not sending the sample back unused & by registered post within the 14 period - it will open the flood gates to a 'membership' that will bring a big and expensive headache! BEST ADVICE: Don't touch Dazzlewhite, Dazzlesmile, World Club Fitness etc (in fact anything that says try it out and JUST pay the postage - it's a con bigtime)0
