  • I think people post on here for constructive help and not to be made to feel any more stupid than they already feel.

If you and johnnyboyrebel hate reading about this I suggest not reading a thread that is obviously about people that have been scammed asking for advice.

In today's Daily Mail there is an article that suggests that Jesse Wilms has had his comeuppance. The FTC have agreed a settlement with him that requires him to hand over all the money in his bank account, the proceeds of a property sale and a car. He is not permitted to trade in the way he has etc. etc. The internet is still full of his shonky websites though!

Yes indeed- it seems that if you steal a bottle of water you go to prison, but if you steal $359 million you don't - as long as as you give some of the money back when you get caught!

And of course all the other people who profited from his scams get to keep their millions (the affiliates who made the fake news sites and got a commission for each person they tricked into signing up for the scam, the affiliate networks who also got a cut of that commission, the ad networks running the ads, etc).
