The pictures of the stained teeth just dont look right, stains dont tend to discolour all teeth in the same way, but more so at the edges etc!!

That is a flog (fake blog or fake news site) so everything on it is a lie - the 'story' the testimonials/comments, the before and after pictures - all fake.

It is owned by an affiliate of one or both of these 2 US affiliate networks (as they are both promoting the offer) and the affiliate gets paid $34/$35 for each of the "free trials" that they trick people into signing up to via their fake blog (so $70 commission in total if the victim signs up to both 'free trials' even though they are from the same company).

Without these affiliate networks (and others) and their affiliates the scammers would never be able to scam anything like the huge amount of people worldwide that they have. This scam is currently being promoted in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and the UK.

Here is a blog which explains how these affiliate network scams work:

this is the bleeding web page that had me the grot bags

so how is everyone getting on with cancelling/getting monies back?

my progress is good - after getting back £152 from sands pass  i had a new card which i some how mangaged to lose so had a new new one and that one cancelled i am still waiting on VISA disputes re the £75 back from BodyPro though hope this will be returned sooner rather than later.

i am continuing to store all monies in my savings transfer to current when i need funds/make a purchase although i'm concerned its new wages go in day soon so am going to have to be extra cautious then i dont know if these muppets can see when/when not funds in the account are good so i am concerned the whole thing may start again.

Barclays did say yes to me opening a new account with them as my original plan (when it seemed there was just no light at the end of the tunnel) was to scrap my co-op account because of this continuous authorisation on the card and just get a new account elsewhere but as it seems to have stopped (bank said at that at some point the theifs will get the message and realise my money cannot be taken) i really would like to stay with CO-OP i like the banks ethics and the UK call centre is worth its weight in gold and the advisors barr a few have been mostly helpful and understanding.

am i doing the right thing? will it stop eventuallly or is it best to change banks?:money:

I have finally had all my money returned by my bank FirstDirect and there hasn't been a whiff of protest from the scammers, hardly surprising, their ruddy ads are everywhere, they must be too busy suckering up new accounts. You don't have to close your account or your card if your bank is being helpful. Like you I value the UK call centre that FD has, the staff are all lovely and so helpful.

Visa should recredit your £75 and argue the toss with the scammers not the other way round. That said keep monitoring and asking Visa why they are refunding others and not you. My debit card is a Visa. I do still check my account, even though nothing has been taken since November. They only have 60 days to dispute the chargeback and they don't appear to have done so, so I think I am safe, if somewhat paranoid :).

They seem to be really pushing the Acai berries and Coloncleanse at the moment.

I too have been subject to Everbright Smiles Scam and also a company called Clean Whites. So far Everbright have billed me £153.61 and Clean Whites £78.51. I didn't read the terms and conditions as I believed the products to be a 'free' trial and thought i was receiving a trial size of the product - misleading advertising!! I did not realise I had suscribed too the Company and authorised monthly payments to be made. I have contacted my bank who have said they will dispute both transactions - however having now read the terms and conditions I do not expect my bank to recover either amounts. Althoguh Everybright have been charging me and sent no products. My bank have also advised me that in order to cancel each transaction i must contact the companies direct. I have managed to cancel my order with Clean Whites but so far attempts to cancel Everbright Whites order has proved futile. I have tried 7 different US telephone numbers all of which are either no longer in service or are just answering messages asking me to call back - at all times of the day and night i can not get through to any of these numbers. I have googled Everbright Smiles and looked for an address or email contact to no avail. Tonight I put the name Everbright Smiles in a search engine called, http//whoisdomain.com and was directed to a Company called, The Breton Group. I contacted The Breton Group who are an advertising agency in New York and who have never heard of Everbright Smiles. I thought maybe they owned the website and had sold it to Everbright and may have a contact. They did say to me they did have a web address called Smiles.com which had been stolen from them but i am unsure if this has any connection with Everbright Smiles. I am completely disheartened as there seems to be no way in contacting Everbright Smiles to cancel my order and therefore i will still be billed $89.97 monthly. I managed to put a stop on my account tonight so hopefully this will stop any more monies coming off my account. This has been a scam in terms of misleading advertising and also i have never been sent anymore products although Everbright Smiles have billed me 3 times for products they say would be sent. I wouldn't put the product near my teeth as I fear it would be harmful to do so. It is also very difficult to get support in trying to resolve this situation as the Company are not UK based so are outwith UK Trading Standards. If anyone has managed to find an address/telephone number in use for Everbright Smiles I would be extremely grateful for you to post it here as I am keen to get to the bottom of this situation. Can't believe I was stupid enough to fall for such a scam. HUGE lesson learned.

    As it says here: http://strangelyperfect.tv/6568/dangerous-effectivecleanse-and-scams-too/

"If you think you’ve had your bank ‘cleaned out’ by any of a multitude of ‘life cleanse’ or ‘colon cleanse’ type internet scams [or teeth whitening scams], there is only one real remedy…
Ask for a charge-back against the company through you credit card company. Your reason, when asked, is that the company has either:

    1. Not adhered to their own claimed ‘Terms and Conditions’ or
    2. The company cannot be contacted through their advertised channels
If the company fails on any of these two key points they have no excuse not to refund you. In fact, if they deliberately make contact difficult, it’s criminal."

    Source: http://strangelyperfect.tv/6568/dangerous-effectivecleanse-and-scams-too/

If they make contact difficult and/or fail to deliver the product and/or fail to honour cancallation requests - you are entititled to and should insist upon a chargeback - it's your money, they stole it by deception and you have the right to get it back.

Also I am still seeing ads online for the everbrights smiles scam and the tracking links are via an affiliate network called Copeac (Intermark Media):

So if you want to know how to get in contact with everbright try contacting Copeac /Intermark and asking them! If you do you might also want to ask them why they are promoting something which is so clearly a scam!?

I finally managed to get through to Everbright Smiles using the customer service number stated on their Terms and Conditions, I was told the Company have no record of my name (i have no order number) yet i was posted 1 box from Everbright Smile so the must have a record of me somewhere. I was also told the number i was calling was called xmbrand not everbright - im guessing that xmbrand is a call centre for various groups. I now have no idea who has taken money from my account.
  • Hi Guys,
I have posted on here has "mally england" unfortunatley i could not sign in with that name so have created another.
My update from the scamming scum,
I was taken in last November and cancelled the same day when i realised what was happening (within 15mins of signing up) I got two payments taken out the same day. I contacted RBS and tried for chargeback, filled in the forms sent them back along with proof of online cancellations etc sent it by registered mail back in December.
Got my statement today still no chargeback, phoned RBS they now say because it was taken out the same day as i cancelled i cannot get the money back? also mastercard ARE still taking payments from these companies, i said both visa & mastercard have turfed these companies out Stacy from RBS says I am sorry but your wrong they havent issued a statement, they havent stopped them from using visa or mastercard.
So i dont know i have now paid it off in full and am going to close the account never to use them again.

XM Brands have been mentioned before. Many complaints and problems linked to them, see:
    http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&source=hp&q=xm+brands

XM Brands scam - they are the umbrella company who 'sell' the products, their list of scam products includes the usual suspects: Acai, Colon Cleanse, Resveratrol, teeth whitener and some work from home scam garbage:
    http://www.xmbrands.com/

    http://sfholidays.blogspot.com/2009/11/scam-alert-xm-brands-refused-to-give-me.html

BBB lists Everbright Smiles as one of the dba names* of XM Brands:
    (*'doing business as' names)
    http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/Business-Report/XM-Brands-Inc-92013738

    XM Brands scam

XM Brands are based in Florida and the Florida Attorney General is currently investigating them: http://www.myfloridalegal.com/lit_ec.nsf/investigations/E2B4046B28E10B148525768C005B8E6C

I am sure the investigators in Florida would find it very helpful to hear from anyone who has been scammed ;) :

    Economic Crimes Division
    Office of the Attorney General
    1515 N. Flagler Drive, Suite 900
West Palm Beach, Florida USA 33401
    Telephone: 561-837-5000
Or you can use the online form here:
    http://myfloridalegal.com/Contact.nsf/Contact?OpenForm&Section=Economic_Crimes

(Fill it in (takes 5 minutes) then scroll down and click submit)

That way your name will also be on the list for refunds if the Florida Attorney General orders them to refund the people they ripped off (which has happened with other companies in the past, eg: Acai)
