I placed an order from Vertbaudet (delivered by Hermes.) I contacted them as it hasn't arrived and they say it was delivered on 1st December to an 'outbuilding.'
I was home all day on Saturday and I do not have an outbuilding.
I have contacted customer services and not had a reply yet ... will they still expect me to pay for an order that I have not received??
Any advice would be appreciated ... Thank-you0 -
Can't see how they can especially as you have no outbuilding and had not agreed to it being left there anyway.0

My parcel which was lost 2 weeks ago was apparently found on Tuesday. It still hasn't arrived yet though...0

Well, I have used Hermes a few times and had lots of deliveries from them, all fine and the friendly driver now knows where to leave things when I am out.0

My parcels FINALLY arrived after one of the companies spent all day on the phone nagging Hermes. They took 44 and 46 days, which must be some kind of record. Also both companies sent two replacement parcels each so those 4 parcels are still lost somewhere in the hermes "system"0

Over the last few weeks we must have over 30 deliveries from both Hermes and (heaven forbid) Yodel, all delivered on time much to my surprise. Yodel driver is a young foreign lad who couldn't be more helpful.0

I am not sure why MyHermes are being recommended on MSE. My experience with them has been a nightmare. The parcels were picked up by a driver in a small car who crammed them in. One parcel was reported damaged during transit on the tracking and they then tried to re-deliver it again but again reported as damaged. No contact received from MyHermes regarding this. I had to try and chase them up... nightmare. You can never get through to their phone number... 3 days I tried. After a few attempts using their useless "contact us" form I got a mail back saying they would investigate. More chase ups form me and then they sent a claim form which asks me to report what was damaged.... I haven't even seen the parcel!!!! Again no way to call them.... My customer (eBay) has now been waiting for 2 weeks for this to be resolved. They are absolutely horrendous.... avoid at all costs!!! I wish I had seen the forums before jumping in with the MSE recommendation.0

I appreciate that Nickcc but I suggest you try and call their advertised number. You may have a very different opinion, especially when you have a customer demanding a response from you. Trying to get a response from them is like a lottery. They state that they will answer emails within 2 days?!?! What sort of business to business service is that?!?0
