We used to have a great agent who did evenings and weekends. The current guy seems to work 10 -11 am only and ignores his answer phone.
Suppose it all depends if they really want the job. My Wife ordered loads from Next a few days ago, when the agent came to collect the returns she was over the moon as they get paid for deliveries and returns, not sure Next will be too happy though. We always book the Next returns using their website, no argument when the agent can't be bothered to turn up.

I wrote about a week ago about my missing parcels which are supposed to be delivered by Hermes Parcel Service. It is now 36 days since the first parcel was sent and nearly 4 weeks since I first complained and not only do I not have the parcels, but I appear to be no nearer to ever receiving them.

Hermes seem to have no idea what they are doing. They have made endless excuses and seem to say anything to get complainants off their phone, I now have four parcels from different companies lost in the Hermes system at the same time, so they cannot say that it is just an aberration involving one parcel. The reasons for the parcels' disappearance seem to change every few days and basically they have no real idea where they are. Their latest fairy story is that the original Hermes courier for my area has left and no one knows what he has done with the parcels. So that sounds a good screw, get a job with Hermes, get a load of parcels to deliver then resign and get to keep all the parcels for yourself.

This firm seems to be a total con, they take the money from firms and make no attempt to deliver. One of the firms is now going to send a third parcel to me, will that ever arrive? I doubt it.
  • Worst courier by far. They have let me down every single time either by collection (didn't happen) and delivery - never arrived.

Bunch of amateurs and staffed by people who have a day job and cannot cope with the extra work......avoid like the plague

Out of all the big courier companies I quite like MyHermes, they've not let me down so far. Interlink is the worst imo

Same for me, perhaps we are lucky as my couriers are not employed elsewhere and we are usually at home during the day.

did you buy the 2 working day delivery. How long did it take for it to arrive? I dropped something on Monday night, so it was picked up on tuesday evening. Just that i thought it would've been there by now if its 2 working days... do you think i should be worrying now?

I have to say Hermes are the best I've come across,I guess it depends on what drivers you have in your area.

Yodel are the worst for me.

We never sell from home and just use Hermes to deliver to us so can't answer your question, sorry. As for Yodel, one of their drivers even pinched our newspaper recycling bag as well as loosing ? A few Amazon purchases.
  • In my own area, the My Hermes driver is one of the best delivery drivers. However, when I sent a few packages via the service the recipients didn't receive them for over ten days. I agree, it depends on how good the local driver is. Ours is excellent.
