Well it wasn't intended as one but I'm always delighted to spread a little happiness. :beer:0 -
Tesco might ask for the difference - snails cost more!!
Keep quiet and fry it in a little butter n garlic and celebrate with some grape juice!!!0 -

I have just found a snail in a pack of frozen fruits of the forest from tesco, I was just about to put it in my mouth, thought it looked a bit strange for a black current
so put my glasses on yuk!! its a good job I did. I rang tesco they have refunded me for the fruit and given me an evoucher for £5 A bit mean I think

What did you expect then?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

For the record, anyone who has studied law amongst us wiill realise that snails have been involved in some hugely significant case law which changed the law forever. It involved a certain snail and a bottle of ginger beer.
But the snail/ginger beer caused actual illness and harm and could not have been expected or seen by the customer at the time of drinking.
Fresh produce should always be washed before consuming and it is to be expected that, occasionally, a snail, bug or other creature MAY be present on fresh produce.0 -

Yes mean that you didn't return the snail to its habitat! The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

As hardy as some snails are, I doubt if a deep frozen one would worry too much about not being returned to its normal habitat!0
