Watch out for celery
when you buy it whole, cut the individual bits of a third of the way up
If you wonder why break some off real low down and see all the little worms n stuff  ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww#
Anyway you should wash all fruit & veg before eating :rotfl:"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -
this is absolutely true, sometimes when you buy bread and cakes from the bakers in summer flies and wasps have trodden on it0

This is an absolute disgrace. I almost vomited over my computer screen reading this disturbing story.
In my opinion, you should sue Tesco for £5000 plus costs. Or threaten to go to the papers and you may get an out of court settlement. You deserve to be compensated for this ordeal.
Only yesterday I got home and found a blue bottle fly dining on some Tesco bread I'd left in my kitchen - so clearly Tesco foods are attractive to all vermin, and something must be done about it. We cannot have these health risks.
In some countries finding a snail in a bag of grapes wouldn't even warrant a mention. The snail would be removed and placed outside then the grapes would be washed and eaten without any further mention. Such a lazy and care free attitude just does not wash however. What if a child had choked on the snail? WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?
Sue them and get the compensation you deserve.
Justice for the OP - no more snails in our grapes.0 -

i think you may have a very good point there and not many people can be aware of this.
why, only last week, i dropped a piece of a sandwich i had bought at tescos, and which i was munching in the street and immediately, this attracted a sparrow which ate the morsel.
notice that asda, sainsbury, morrison, somerfield, m and s did not cause this shameful scene.
and just imagine if the sparrow had then pecked a small child in the vicinity.
i for one am signing your petition.0 -
I'd be happy to know that the grapes weren't coated in pesticide, washed them & eaten them.
Then found a suitable home for the snail and framed the 'Still Life with Snail' photo for the office wall!0 -
Anyway, it seems like a case of sour grapes to me...0

That reminds me of my favourite joke:
Man goes into a bakery.
Man: I'd like to buy a wasp, please.
Baker: But we don't sell wasps.
Man: Well there's one in your window.0 -
