I have followed this theory on both my chartity card, and my Skycard, it seems to work on both. BUT be sure to check the T&Cs to ensure that both BTs and purchases are 0% AND for the same period, otherwise, you will end up paying interest, or shortening your interest free period.
Hope that makes sense, hopefully someone with more experience e.g. YorkshireBoy can confirm (or tell me that I am talking rot!!!!)

I think the 0% on purchases and on transfers is pretty new. It used to be one or the other on normal cards. Toying with the idea of giving this a go myself, but it could get quite complicated to manage. i.e. remembering to use a particular card for upto a specified amount only.0 -

That can be a problem, however, I use Quicken to manage my accounts but I do still have to remember which cards are "maxed" out, I normally put them away at this point and either use them online, or take them out for a specific spend.0 -

I can't find the Harley Davidson one - do you have a link please?
Applied for a charity card over the weekend but the only links (from Martin's article) that worked were GOSH and Guide Dogs.
edit: Just tried the links again and the only ones working are GOSH, NSPCC, and RNID. The others give Page not found errors.0 -

I got 7.5k. I'm sure I saw a post somewhere which said that was the upper limit, but I never rang them to find out.0 -

Depends on how you define most. A few don't work, but most do.
From the original links from Martin : Great Ormond Street, Harley Davidson,NSPCC, and RNID all still work.
The links for Scout Association, Guide Dogs, Macmillan Cancer Relief and Mencap don't work.
From the main site page, you can link to the following cards: Namely, Animal Aid, Anthony Nolan, Diabetes UK, Lepra, Marie Curie, Mayhew Animal Home, Meningitis, Royal British Legion and Scottish SPCA. Not sure which terms apply to these cards though.0 -
Sent my signed agreement back for the Guide Dogs card Thursday/Friday last week. When should I expect to get my new card?0
