Just activated my macmillan card. Bloke on the other end of the line nearly told me there was a 2% fee, and stopped mid sentence - think the call centre have got the message. Brill service.
Not quite a good enough limit, but thats down to me changing bank accounts two months ago.
Very happy.:money:Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

I am about to do a BT from the Charity chard to a pay of an existing BT.The terms state that have to repay 2% of the balance each month - so based on borrowing of £6750 (90%) of the 7.5k credit limit, i will have repay a rather large £135 back per month? My previous card was £5 or 2% whichever the lesser figure (therfore only repaid £5 a month.)
Is there anyway round this and importantly have I got the terms right?
Basicly the failry high repayments significantly eat into the borrowed funds.
look forward to some clarification from someone who know what they are talking about!

Look on the bright side - at least you'll be clearing the debt sooner.
EDIT: There have been some reports of the HBoS Charity Card credit agreements stipulating a 3% minimum payment, so be sure to check this when it arrives.0 -

I think they are trying to get 3%, however, if the card ha the same T&Cs as mine, you also get 0% on purchases, so, each time a payment is made, you could use the card to spend the same amount and "max" the card out again.
Obviously, this assumes you have the "readies" to pay the minimum payment without them being tied up in a mortgage or savings.

An interesting and clever idea :T. I never thought of that one. Have you actually tried doing this or is it just a theory?0 -
Sorry if this has been discussed already, but the charity cards now seem to be only 5 months 0% on transfers?

You don't seem to be able to get to GOSH from the charitycards front page, and if you follow the direct link the images fail to load - does this suggest the deal has finished?
I can't find the Harley Davidson one - do you have a link please?0 -
Ah, found the HD one -
http://www.picture-cards.co.uk/harley-davidson/
But again, you can't get there from the picture-cards front page, there's only an Elvis card with 5 months 0%. Does this mean the HD one is no longer available, perhaps?0
