Very busy boring day indeed, i do enjoy cleaning, but i really need to be in the mood. Have done a bit so far, just stopped for breaking as was feeling hungry!

Checked weather and its meant to be as nice as today - fingers crossed! I have priced everything, and I'm all set for tomorrow. Just need to move the stuff to the car now.

Totally agree Wendz. I have so much stuff that was just sitting in my cupboards doing nothing, if i can make money from it then super.

I have just signed up for an online spending diary, i've had one before but never really used it, but just had another little look and i've realised how good they actually are. You can do reports and break down the areas which you spend far too much on. I wished i'd started it at the beginning of the month, but never mind, I'm going to update it everyday and hopefully by the end of Aug it will give me a picture of where i need to cut back.

So far i've done the cleaning, and the surveys, best get on....

What a day! OH and I were up at 5.30am for the carboot, i really didn't want to get up and did think for a minute sod it, but nope i got up and we were setting out the stuff at 6.30 am  The day started off slowly, but i managed to make £100 :j i did sell a mobile phone for £40 so that bumped up the profits, but all the other stuff was bits i found in my bedroom which i no longer required or wanted. So all in all a successful carboot. One thing i did notice tho was that people are soooooo tight. I was more or less giving stuff away, was very annoying. For example, a lovely River Island dress i bought 3 months ago for £60, i struggled to sell it for £6, even someone moaned about that and said there was a little mark and would only give me £5  plus some of the gift sets i had, all really top brands, but people would moan at £4 for a £30+ The Body Shop set. Some people are truly shocking! Sorry if someone reads this and they are just like the people I'm referring too, sorry but i think its really shocking! Id rather give it to charity than give it away because your a tight git!

Anyways, after the carboot my OH had to go off to work, but before that i treated us to Subway as we missed breakfast, so i was naughty and spent £6 of my profits. Then, I met my Mum and we went to the cinema to see The Proposal, what a really good funny film, loved it, so i spent another £8 on my ticket for that, and £5 on treats to get me through the film  Then after we went out for a meal, i had vouchers so only cost us £8 each. THEN when i got back, because i was driving and couldn't have a glass of wine with the meal, i went to Tescos and bought myself a bottle of wine for £10  I'm now chilling with a glass and waiting for OH to get home from work. I'm really scared to add up for total spends for the day - i will though just so it will shock me into saving money and not going out lol - total = £37 of my bootsale profits spent  bad Hayley - i will definitely be staying in next weekend.

Other than all my spending today i've had a really good day. Now just dreading going back to work tomorrow!

Off to update my spending diary :rotfl:

Glad the bootsale went well, even if you did spend some of the profits! haha! But you've still got £63 profit left! not bad at all and your house is now more clutter free! :)

At boot sales people really do expect to pay pennies for things dont they! I love body shop bits!

I had to bring some of the clutter back unfortunately, but they are only really nice gift sets which i didn't want to part with for pennies, so might do another in the next couple of weeks, if i can persuade OH that is!

Another day of spending. I didn't need to be in work till 11 so i decided to have a wonder around the shops. I popped in Miss Selfridge and found a really nice dress which i'd seen online and wanted but unfortunately sold out in every size, so was very happy when i saw it, but only had 2 size 14's left. I'm a size 10 so didn't think it was going to fit, but because it was elasticated around the bust, it fitted fine. It was originally £38, but only £20 in the sale, so i snapped it up. I'm going to be putting it away and wearing it our friends wedding in Mexico in November. There was another dress i wanted in the sale, but only size 8 in the shops and that didn't fit round my bust, would've been ideal for a wedding at the end of the month. I've just seen it online and they have a 10 so i may be naughty and order it. I don't feel bad because i needed these dresses for weddings, and was prepared to pay literally anything to wear something nice, so if i can get something nice in the sale i should definitely buy it now i think.

Other than my spend in Miss Selfridge, i had to reheel some Guess shoes i got in America, which cost me £7.95, soooo expensive i thought, and also spent `£3 in Boots! I plan to have a no spend day tomorrow!!

Not feeling great this evening, body aches and i just feel tired all the time. Guy at work who's been on holiday for 3 weeks was due back today but he's now got Swine flu, I'm going to be keeping away from him when he comes back thats for sure!

Other than another day of spending its been a good Monday!

Another spending day, i just can't stop can i. Popped in Primark and spent £6, and then bought some essentials in Boots for £5. Tonight when i got home i popped in to Tesco to get some bits for dinner, so that meant spending another £4. I was good though, i picked up the new OK magazine, then i resisted and put it back - yay!!!!

I have been updating my spending diary everyday, and i'm finding it really useful. I'm going to make sure its updated everyday.

Not much else to report. OH is at work so watching the footie on my own and drinking a glass of wine. I got a Jane Green book out from the library earlier so going to go to bed early tonight and read that. I read a little bit on the bus and the first 6 pages were really good, so eager to get to bed and read some more.

I don't know what's wrong with me these days, I'm always tired. I don't normally get up till 8.30, which i think is quite late, but I'm always tired throughout the day, and tired in the evenings and just want to go to bed and sleep  I think i may make a doctors appointment, just in case.

My sister text me last night to say she can give me my money back tomorrow so that will be great, already know what I'm spending it on, OH's trip to London but will be putting £60 aside to buy myself some new clothes :p.

I was hoping to go cinema later, Orange Wednesdays, but OH wants to watch England play later, i don't mind, i LOVE footie, but was just a cheap night out with the 241 cinema tickets, and the 241 pizza express offer on Wednesday, hey ho!

Best go start getting ready for work - hopefully today will go quick, really want the weekend to be here.

I feel constantly tired at the moment, when I get home from work don't want to do anything. I am hoping my week off in a coupld of weeks will perk me up.

A spending diary is a great idea, you don't realise on what rubbish you spend money on.
