Spent quite a bit today  £3.50 on a magazine for the two free The Body Shop eyeliners, i don't like the magazine, full of clothes i could never afford, but the 2 eyeliners are really good! I also spent £6 in Tescos on bits and bobs, its shocking how quickly it adds up!

Just looking at deals in London. I didn't realise how expensive things are, i may have to cut back on buying rubbish for the next couple of weeks and put all the pennies in the piggy bank ready for London weekend. Or i could just take him to London for the day and go on Duck Tours, look round London, and then some food. Will probably save me around £120 if i did it just for the day. Hmmmmm!

The swelling has gone down a little more bit, so i'm really happy about that. Still a way to go yet before i get my normal face back, but its slowly getting there!

Glad your face is starting to look more normal.

We're going to London next month to see Dirty Dancing, and I need to look around for something to do on the sunday.

    Thanks Yuk!

Dirty Dancing is brilliant, my mum sister and me loved it when we went to see it, you will have a great time. Have you considered Duck Tours? it looks great - a bit expensive but only something you'll do once, if not how about the London Eye? Thats well worth doing! I think if you book in advance you can save yourself some money. Lastminute.com may even do tickets.

Right, I'm really not getting the hang of this saving money malarky! I tried really hard today, okay didn't start off good, popped into Tesco before work and bought myself lunch, ANOTHER magazine and spent £5, then i had to pop into Wilkos to get my OH some packaging materials, and me being me had a little look round and spent another £11 on shower gel/bath gel & Corsodyl Daily Gum & tooth paste. I hoped to have a spend free afternoon as i was at work and couldn't spend any money, but even there i managed to spend £49.99. What on you ask?! Well..a guy from the salon down the road came into our office today, he was doing a special offer for the first 20 ladies he visited. The special offer is a cut/colour also a facial/massage/manicure & hand massage/feet massage/pedicure - all over £350 but with the 85% special offer its just £49.99. I was unfortunately in the office at the time as well as a few other girls and got talked into buying the offer. At first i said no, and walked away, but then a few other girls bought it as it seriously was not as offer to say no too, i decided what the heck, I'm going to treat myself. I will get the manicure/pedicure/facial and massage done all before i go to Mexico in November. I'll also need my hair coloured and cut again in September and that usually costs me £70+ - so working it out it has saved me loads. I will also get 25% off every time i visit them.

Luckily my sister is giving me the money back next week, and I'm doing a bottsale Sunday, so i don't feel so bad treating myself. Going to transfer the £14 from my Butlins bingo account to my bank, will hopefully make me feel less guilty.

Total spent today = TOO MUCH!!!!:mad:

I went with my sister and Mum too and we loved it, we are very similar sometimes Hayles hehe!

I really want to do ducktour one weekend , will have to persuade OH to do it.

Naughty naughty for the spending, although I am just as bad so can't say much. That does sound like a great deal all that stuff for 50 quid, I spend 80 on my cut and colour alone.

My OH and I have been saying for years about wanting to do ducktours, so it would be great to surprise him and actually do it.

Thats what i thought, i spend more than that on my cut and colour too, so surely getting a free massage, facial, manicure & pedicure mad it a must buy, well thats what I'm going to tell myself anyway! Its not like i go out every weekend wasting money on drink, i hardly ever spend money on going out, and i've never smoked, so surely i deserve it? LOL! Okay i've wasted more than enough money on clothes in my life, but i won't count that.

Make sure you do Maria - we all need a treat every now and again! The facial/massage/manicure/pedicure are all done at a really nice spa retreat and not at the salon, so will give me a chance to see what its like because i was thinking of getting a san tropez tan there before Mexico!

How do i manage it, i spent another £10 in Tesco today, i must keep away!! It wasn't all on junk, just the essentials, bread, milk, Tropicana, something for dinner. Food is just so expensive - if only we didn't need it to live.

Just checked the weather for the weekend and its going to be lovely - so i will definitely be doing my bootsale on Sunday fingers crossed. Tonight i may go through all the boxes and get things ready. Saturday i may just spend the day chillaxing.

So much for a nice lie in for me - stupid builders were outside at 7am taking down scaffolding. You'd think because its early Saturday morning they'd try to be quiet, nope not them, banging, shouting loud, swearing. Luckily my OH hadn't just done a night shift, otherwise he'd of been

Instead i have got up and doing a bit more research into my London trip next month. I have just checked my Walkers britrip account and i have enough points for 2 half price tickets for Madame Tussauds so i think i will add that to my list of things for us to do.

So I now have Ducktours lined up, Madame Tussauds & maybe a late night London Eye ride if i can find cheap tickets.

Just need to make sure the Brittrip offer for the hotel is the cheapest and i couldn't find something cheaper else where.

Apart from London research, today i will be:
    • Doing my online surveys
    • Getting all bits for tomorrows bootsale ready
    • I might look into match betting again now that footie season is back!
    • Wash the car - it needs it and its cheaper than taking it to a car wash!
    • Clean the apartment - fun fun fun!
    • Pop to dads to see if i can find anymore bootsale items in my old room
    • Go take all the recycling to Sainsburys

I best crack on! OH is back from work at 4 and i want to make sure everything is done by then so we can relax together for the eve. I'm cooking spag bol tonight, our favourite! With freshly made garlic bread.

    xx

Good luck with everything you have planned for the weekend.

I know what you mean about food being expensive i just popped to asda to get a few bits to make cakes and a couple of things for breakfast and it came to 15 quid.
