Another day down, one more to go before a few days off :j

I have decided i need to get my bottom in gear and start money saving a bit more than what i do now. This can be done by:
    • Checking Onepoll daily
    • Doing scratchies daily
    • Checking Quidco everyday for offers
    • Start doing Bingoport again - easy way to make money, but very boring at times!
    • Sign my OH up to Dooyoo

If i can do these things everyday i will be much happier with myself :D

Also, must do the bootsale when we get back from holiday and get rid of the stuff which is now taking up space in spare bedroom!

A de-clutter is always a good thing! I agree bingoport is quite dull, and if you try join in on the chat they ignore anyone that isnt in the 'clic'!

Have a fab time on your holiday break! :)

Morning! Just quickly logging in before i head off to work, prob work get chance to get on tonight, packing, visiting my sis and niece before we go, and just making sure the flat is spic and span before we go, i love going away and coming back to a tidy house. Makes the unpacking part much more bearable.

Thanks Maria! I'm really looking forward to the sunshine and watching Real Madrid!

Just done scratchies, must check Onepoll. Cannot bear BP now!

We ordered our Euros last night to pick up from the airport tomorrow, we only ordered £300 worth, so were going to try and make it last. If not, and we see things we want to buy we will put it on the cards!

Right, must go finishing getting ready!

Well i am back from my hols, got back late last night and it was FANTASTIC! I would definitely recommend Madrid to anyone, its such a wonderful city. My OH and I both loved it. We did spend quite a bit, we took £340 euros (£306 english) and my OH had to take out another £50 worth of euros so we had enough but we ate out every night in really nice restaurants sitting outside in the heat, we didn't want to worry about money as we were on holiday. We also went to the Real Madrid game which was amazing. I was Ronaldo spotting all night from my seat, he is just soooo nice. We ate in TGI Fridays before the game and outside we could see crowds of people, they were waiting for the players to arrive in the coach, so we got a good glimpse of that from our table too :j my OH spotted Ronaldo, i missed him. There is a rather embarrassing story to tell about the Real Madrid game but i will keep it quiet ;) The weather was 40-42 degrees everyday we were there, it was soo hot, i just wanted to find a pool and jump in it. I have come back with a bit of a tan so happy about that. I was dreading coming back to cold England, but it wasn't that bad, we flew into Heathrow last night and it was surprisingly warm out, thank god as i was still dressed for Madrid weather lol.

Just checked my bank and i've been paid, always a bonus when you get back from hols :D

Just off to do some Onepoll and free scratchies.

My OH has just had to go docs as he had a really bad headache the last few days, he's adamant he's dying, i was hoping to go with him but he left at 9 am and i was still half asleep.

    xx

Glad you had a great holiday. Sounds like a really nice place.

Getting paid when you are back is always a bonus! At least you don't have to the usual scrimping after a holiday.

Thanks girlies. It was a really really nice city, definitely recommend it.

Might tell you my embarrassing story later :p

So happy the week is almost over, only been back at work a day and I'm already wishing it was Friday. Its horrible going back after a couple of days off! I have no more holiday booked until Mexico in November now for 2 weeks! I'm counting down the days already :j 3 and a half months to go!

I need to get back into money making. I'm hopefully doing a carboot on Sunday, so should hopefully make some money then!

Must get on and start dinner. My OH is moaning at me thats he's hungry and is unable to study because his belly is rumbling! any excuse to stop i think!

Well i've started my money making. Forgot i received an e-mail earlier from Vernons giving me a free £2 token for instant win games, so just had a little go on Monopoly and won £11. I wanted to continue playing as was having fun, but decided to give up on £11, i did have £15. As soon as i've changed my bank details on file, i will withdraw the £11 - yay free money!
