oooo bit of a slip up this week but try not too beat yourself up about it. There is always next week!
Good luck with the £20 in two weeks. It's a good idea. Will be checking back to see how you are getting on with it.0 -
Thanks Hayley. Hopefully i can make £20 last, i totally forgot that i'm seeing a mate Wednesday eve and going for a meal. I will have to look for vouchers so i don't end up spending more than £10.
I'm doing well, zero spent this weekend so far. This morning we have cleaned the cars inside and out, and just had lunch. We were hoping to watch the footie matches, Man united v Birmingham, but Sky is being funny and its having signal problems, not happy! I'm hoping its up before the Liverpool Spurs game later. The very best things in life ... are free!
Challenges for 2010: Sealed pot challenge n.o.855 - £365 in 365 days challenge (pay for xmas in 2010) £21 - Make £5 a day in Jan challenge £0.00/£1550 -
Sound slike you have been having a fun weekend. Bit of a spendy one but does sound like you have managed to get yourself some bargains.
The twenty pound challenge sound slike quite a good one.0 -
Thats how i see it, got myself some bargains, which means i won't have to buy a coat later on it the year, so savings there, and also i now have plenty of clothes to last me. Just bidded on a dress on ebay, £12.50, i saw it on ASOS and wanted it, but all sold out, so thought i'd check ebay and they had one BNWT. Lets hope i win it for that price, its £47 on asos. The £20 challenge doesn't start till tomorrow so if i win the dress it won't come out of my budget!
Just spent £1.33 on veg for the lovely roast i'm in the middle of doing. Roast chicken with all the trimmings! yum!
No luck with Sky, missed 2 big footie games, not happy!!!The very best things in life ... are free!

OH MY GOD, how HOT is it???? I like the heat, but not this hot when i'm having to be at work in an office with no air con. Roll on winter lol. I kinda love winter, snuggling up on the sofa in your warm baggy joggers and hoodie.
Anyways, i have spent my £20 already! I'm forever messing up aren't i?!
Monday i spent £10 in Primark, and then Tuesday i spent £6 in Primark on some candles i'd seen the day before, and then i had to buy a new lipstick from Boots, i bought a no7 lipgloss because i had a £5 voucher, i did however spend 2p over £5 so i got another No7 voucher - yippee! Still deciding how I'm going to spend that.
Today i've sorta had a NSD, apart from the £1.60 i chucked in the vending machine for treats! Whoopsie.
I was meant to be meeting my mate tonight at Bluewater, but she had to cancel, at least that will save me £20.
Must go update my spending diary, not had a chance so far this week.

It is way too hot, our flat is like a sauna.
Oh dear about the spending , at least you are svaing tonight though!0 -
Lol it's not a sort of NSD when you spent money on the vending machine.0
-
I know Yuk - but because i got the money out a change jar on my desk i sorta classed it as a NSD - in my own silly Hayley way.
I would love to say i have had a NSD today but i just haven't, £38 on a dress in Miss Selfridge, and £5 in Wilkos on hangers. If i didn't have so many clothes i wouldn't have to spend more money on hangers would i? The rest of the week is going to be a no spend week, as well as the weekend. Well I'm going to give it a go anyway!
Not much more to report - must update that spending diary.

I did forgot to mention i have done 11 hours overtime this week, so that will help cover the naughty spending this week. I am also doing another 4 hours tomorrow extra. Yay!
Edit: I also have a mystery shop for Monday - this will earn me £10. Going to try and do 1 mystery shop a week @ £10, so that should hopefully be around £40 a month extra. The very best things in life ... are free!

When I want something new that I dont really need like clothes I make myself save or make the money equal to what I want to buy eg take lunch to work instead of buying it for 2 weeks saves me £30 or sell stuff I dont use anymore on ebay until I have the money to buy what I want.
Sometimes the time also helps me think do I really want it after all???0
