I'd love a week off, i think thats exactly what i need to perk me up too. Unfortunately because i have 2 weeks off in November to go Mexico i have little holiday left. boohoo!
Just updated my spending diary, £4.30 spent today. £3.30 on the Cosmo mag, i only bought it for the 20% off voucher for Dorothy Perkins, and also spent £1.00 on treats from the vending machine at work.
We have no food in the freezer for dinner, so I'm thinking about ordering a chinese, that'll be around £10. Maybe i could make something with the tuna and sweetcorn we have in the cupboards! The very best things in life ... are free!

well done on not ordering a chinese. I agree it would have tasted nicer, but think of the money you saved and you'll appreciate it more when you have one for not having them all the time.
Thanks, my total is sliding down slowly, but sooooo skint now this month, it's depressing lol0 -
Where did the thank you button just appear from, was i just half asleep this morning?
weird.
Totally agree Yuk! You may be skint now, but just think when the loan is gone, the car will be all yours! All worth it in the end.
Today, what a day! I'm staying at my dads tonight as my OH is working till 4 am, and i HATE being in the apartment alone. Plus, really wanted to see my family and had to pop by my sisters to get the money. Silly moo wasn't able to give me all of it, the bank has a £300 a day limit, i'm sure she did that on purpose :rotfl: never mind, will get the rest next month.
Just watching PS. I Love You - i've seen that film so many times, but i cry every time. God i'd love to be able to make gorgeous shoes.
Not had dinner yet, my dad never has anything in the house. Might raid the cupboard, he might have something thats not passed its sell by date. I was going to pop to the fish and chip shop, but then thought i'd save some money.
Spent £9.00 on a jumper in Primark today, and then £1.50 on 2 bottles of drink. So in total a £10.50 spend today.
Off to read some diaries now!

This morning i am off to pay the money in the bank, and i will then have a little looksy around the shops before i have to head to work. I'm so glad its finally Friday. Not much planned for the weekend, i think its going to be a weekend of watching footie as the premiership kicks off tomorrow :j, also, as my OH will be studying al weekend, i may suggest us going out to Prezzo Saturday night and using the £10 voucher they have. We also have a BOGOF voucher for Blockbusters, so meal out, then home to dvds cuddling on the sofa, heaven.
Hypno mentioned something in her diary about trying to survive for two weeks on £20, so on Monday, I'm going to give it ago - that will take me up until payday, which works out just nicely.
Off to go get ready for work. Oh and only 10p on scratchies this morning.

Okay, paying the money in the bank didn't go quite as planned. I stopped by Primark and it looked like they had just had a delivery of all new stuff, so i decided to have a proper look round. I came out having spent £49  however i did buy a really nice cream buckle mac coat for the winter, its really nice, i did see one in Jane Norman i liked which was £55, but the one in Primark which is more or less the same only cost £18. I also bought a really nice black smart dress for work for only £13, i'd seen one in River Island for £35, so another saving. And i also bought a nice long shirt to wear with leggings - so i was happy with my purchases.
Unfortunately my Friday of spending didn't stop there, i'd seen some bits in the Miss Selfridge sale online. A really nice dress i'd seen in the shops but only had size 14/16, so when i saw a size 10 online i had to buy it as it was only £17 reduced from £35 and i plan to wear it to a wedding at the end of the month, i also got a really nice pair of ballet pumps for £15, and also a dress to wear over leggings, so i ended up spending another £44, but i did use a free postage code :T
In the evening my OH and i went to Bluewater, my idea shock horror, and i only spent £6 buying some essentials in boots. My OH treated us to Nandos - yummy! However on the way back we stopped by Blockbusters to get us some movies for the weekend, i had a BOGOF voucher so we got 2 for £3.99, and i also stopped in Tesco and picked up a bottle of wine and some choccies for the movie, so another £8 spent
Thankfully the spending stopped there. I must update my spending diary for yesterday.
My OH and I have been to Sainsburys today and done the food shopping, he paid and it came to £99, that will last us the month tho. We only do one big food shop a month, and i then end up topping that up with bits from Tescos every day. We also had a fry-up from the cafe there - again OH paid bless him. He knows i spend far too much during the month in Tescos
We got back from Tesco and watched the footie, god i hate Chelsea, lucky sods, and i have just finished cleaning the whole apartment :j:j
Now time to chillax, and enjoy the weekend. I haven't spent any money so far, and staying in this evening, and all we plan to do tomorrow is clean the cars, so fingers crossed no spending this weekend!!!
Next week i plan to put £20 in my purse, and make it last me till payday on the 28th. Its do-able, we don't need food, and all i need money for is the park and ride, which is £1.50 a day - so thats £13.50, which leaves me £6.50. I'm going to make sure i stick to it as i've spent FAR too much lately. The very best things in life ... are free!
