As a buyer what puts you off a listing?

Another thing that puts me off is when a seller nicks your image and description :mad: If they can't take the time to write their own description, can they take the time to post the item? And they never credit the original author at the bottom

As per the title of this thread, the seller also also offended by using a stock photograph of a machine that is a about 22 years old!

People who blatently lie in auctions get me riled. Saw a £250 buy it now yesterday for a complete set of cards. The seller says that they have seen them going for a lot more, but actually from experience they go for about £30. To add insult to injury in the photo they have put up there are lots of cards that are reprints, and not actually from the set that they say they are. :rolleyes:

You've just reminded me of another pet peeve, often found in the sci fi section autographs.

This is a market in photographs being sold as with printed autographs, some sellers sell these correctly as being autographed in person by the celebrity, and then copied and sold off in the thousands, but some sellers hide all that in the small print and sell them as 'with a genuine autograph' or similar.
