As a buyer what puts you off a listing?

Ok this listing nothing genrally wrong. Just way too busy and the item description quite small. I was looking for some Torx drivers but it just made me go bacl
HERE
Interesting - that is a custom made store design from a company called Frooition - they charge about £1000 set up, and a significant managment fee.
After a number of changes to the shop displays on eBay, they came under a lot of criticism for adding further management fees to correct their own template designs to work with the new layouts.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

Intresting to see if that sort of design puts others off. In a previous life I used to be in the print industry and the mantra there for any sort of one page advertising (which ebay is) you need to keep it simple and punchy. Too much text too many graphics and people just switch off. If you have to wade through text and graphics to find the description it just puts you off.
I have no problem with templates or store design but if designed and used wrong they can do more harm than good. When people are shopping on ebay more than likely they will only look at your listing for a few seconds before they decide to look in more detail or press the back button. So simple and to the point wins in my book.
So what does everyone else think?0 -

There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I only really mind the "woe is me" tales of eBay gone bad and sellers who see buyers as the enemy, or even worse, as stupid muppets.
The sins that I am guilty of are centred text in a sizeable font (14) and if there is a factoid which will cause me problems if the buyer doesn't read it I put that info right at the top in 24 point red bold text!
I'm in the process of turning out my bottom drawer of unwanted cosmetic items that I have accumulated as gifts, and in gifts with purchase or as part of kits from QVC. I will have maybe up to 100 new items for sale at once for about a month. I guess some people will assume I'm a business seller, but there's nothing I can do about that. What does it matter anyway?0 -
My pet hate has got to be excessive postage - and people who justify it by saying what the postage includes: e.g. petrol, parking, the fact that they have to have half a day off work because their PO is only open the second Tuesday of every month. It really puts me off!0

Another seller that could never be accused of keyword spamming in their titles. Anyone want to buy some golf?
