Sayaka -that is lovely -and for a lovely cause too :T
Amanita -that is gorgeous :T-you can see why it would make you cross eyed whilst working on it :rotfl:....but well worth it

Sweet-carer -thanks for the wishes :D-I bet you will have that floral alphabet done before I get back :D

Wow - that looks fantastic, I remember seeing it on the site when you put a link up, how long were you working on it for in total?

About a year of actual stitching but I put it aside for 6 months. In fact I actually gave up stitching for those 6 months with only a couple of pages of this left to do. I was afraid I'd never stitch again.

I still don't stitch anything like as much as I used to :o and can go weeks now without picking up a needle.

_party_ Happy Birthday Maria, hope you gets lots of good pressies from Hobbycraft. Must say I agree with Louise, you should be putting your feet up sewing while tea is made for you! Hope you have a fab day _party_

MrsM she is looking amazing. I think you've sewn more this week than I've done on my entire polar bear LOL.

Hiah Mags_cat. I like your picture of Max, everyone on here is lovely and I'm sure they will spur you on to finish him! Trust me, I need motivation, I've been neglecting my UFO for a while, think I may post an update in a moment so you can see just how little I've done!

Amanita and Sayaka, well done for finishing your pics, they look amazing!

I have a dilemma, and I need advice please. I was looking for a new chart (most likely a Heaven and Earth Rachel Anderson because they are my favourite at the mo), but OH as looking over my shoulder. He spotted a Wizard of Oz chart which he thinks is brilliant as it's his favourite film of all time. He thinks I should sew that one, but if I'm honest I really don't like the film (sorry if you do LOL). Would you sew a big picture if you didn't like it??? I struggle to find motivation and time for the ones I do like, I'm not sure I'd ever finish it if I did start it. What would you all do???
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

Simac, the polar bears are sooooo cute :) Maybe you could do the Wizard of Oz one for his birthday so it has more meaning than just doing a kit. If you can buy the Oz kit and one you love then swap between them. Who knows the Oz one maybe an easy kit which is over with quickly :rotfl:

Simac -those bears are soooo sweet -and coming along nicely :T
The 2 designers I am drawn to on the heaven and earth range are Rachel Anderson ( I have the garnet one) and Jonathon earl bowser (the one Im doing now)
I think if it was something for hubby I could probably do something I wasn't keen on -but how bit is that wizard of oz one? -I can't see any details when I look at the pictures on the sew along site -it does look a biggie though :p

Depends on the size and detail really (do you have a link to the pic?)

My mum bought me a dimensions kit from America which she fell in love with, It's a beautiful Santa, loads of detail, but it's not something I would have picked for myself so I have never started it.

I usually only do pics I really like, sometimes I have done smaller ones that I'm not so keen on, but they have been a trial really, so I couldn't imagine doing a smaller one.

..perhaps it's time your huby learned to cross stitch.....;)

Ps - your bears are looking lovely, nice to see the third one making an appearance! x
