    Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HELP!

Are there any nice people out there who by chance have some DMC Thread 437 (pale dusky brown) lying about that they don't need?? I need literally like 4 strands of it to finish off my tiger cub!!!!!:mad::mad: but its not a colour I'm likely to use again so was just wondering if anyone had any spare instead of ordering another load of it then having it laying about unused. .

I have every colour - I am happy to send you some, just pm me

    Lou x

    Well B*m

I guess Im "granny" then :o-I wil be 38 on the 22nd of December :D....

I think I am the "granny" I am already 38 - turned it in July 18th  . I have been cross stitching now for over 20 years. I have been a collector of both cross stitcher (UK) and cross stitch collection since issue 1. I lost a few in a house fire and still sorting through what got saved. Also lost pictures I had up in the house. I used to do alot for other people - wedding samplers, birth samplers and of course the free wee kits in the magazines. Just now I am concentrating on the floral alphabet - each letter feels like a new kit. :)

Well better get on with it. Love this forum, don't have many friends around so feel less alone. Hubby works night shift.

Kind wishes to all and happy stitching

    sweetcarer ;)

Tigerlily - Johnsons Crafts (google it) have good threads and they are 45p each at the minute.

Hoping to find a new chart to start soon as the tiger cub is done.

I missed that part too. Must read more carefully! :D

When sorting through some of my kit earlier, I found this Margaret Sherry Cattitudes design that I've finished and never had framed, so will do that this week. :)

    Tiger lily

Someone (sorry can't remember who) posted this link the other week

    http://www.across-town-stitching.talktalk.net/

DMC threads are 30p each or as little as £52 for 200 :j

Louise ordered some and they ARE genuine DMC skeins :D
so I have ordered 213 skeins for my my next 3 charts :p

Sweetcarer -we can be the "old farts" of the group together then ;)

I have to confess that I have popped on here to get a break from all the bl**ping backstitch on mums pressie -I am going crossed eyed -and using quite a lot of rude words :o:rotfl:
I was thinking about doing another similar one for mum for next year -that is the partner to this one...... I don't see me doing it now :D

Ruth_Honey no plans for my 30th, we don't drink or go out and no family near us so it'll be the same as an other day here.

*Louise* i do find doing the background easier as its big chunks of the same colour in half stitch, the lions will take ages as its a few stitches of one colour then a few of the other as you can imagine :rotfl:

    Misty that cat is adorable.

I'm getting the stitching bug again which i'm pleased about only i keep seeing lots of kits i want, at this rate i may have about 20 UFO's :rotfl:
