What forms specific do I need to get from the court. Is there no guidelines I could follow. Things were so much easier following the step by step guide.0

I understand the basics of it but I need some help to come up with a game plan. I have read on the BAG website, but im not the most confident of people, even a little timid.
I was trying to search on the BAG website to see if any cases had progressed since i last looked because it seems that Barlcays are determined to defend in court
Anyone know how far advanced the most advanced barclays cases are ?
They're not determined to defend in court, they're determined to make you believe they will.
And they have been stalling as far as they can... But we have a good dozen + who are now past allocation questionnaire stage, and Barclays are soon going to either pay up or go to court! And I'm guessing it won't be the latter!!!0 -
Bookworm, didnt I read about a chap going against Barclays last week and the court gave them another date. It actually got into the court room iircThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

robaxter wrote:Hi, Im new to all this and I too live in Scotland and am about to go to court. The question I have is that the money claim website says you must have an address in either England or Wales. Is there a different site that needs to be used?0

That wasn't Barclays. We've had 2 court appearances this week, both with Abbey, but they weren't hearings for the charges as such, they were set-asides hearings. Basically, these 2 folks each got a default judgment againt Abbey and Abbey then asked judge to set aside the default so they could present a defence. The judge granted it (they usually do) and now a date has to be set for a full hearing.
I'll guess the banks will settle both those cases within the fortnight.0 -
OK so today is the day the halifax's time is up from me - its register it with the court day!!
Can you do this on-line? If so where?
Also, all my charges are from either bounced DD's, bounced cheques or over my OD fee's, can I add the interest onto my total amount in this claim?
Im really scared that Im going to be the first person they make an example of and refuse to budge:jDebt Free At Last!:j0 -
Hey guys!
OK, I sent off my Letter Before Action letter on May 31st. They got back to me on the 2nd June saying the usual nothing we can do. Have notified our lawyers accordingly blah blah!
Now I know I have to go to the Moneyclaim website but do I have to wait 14 days as stated in my Letter Before Action or as they have responded can I do it now?0 -
Wai the 14 days as just in case it gets to court it will look better for you.
Good luck0 -

I hope your going to report them to the information commissioner lynz?
Remember they have 40 days to supply the information. Keep sending them letters saying you only have 30 days, 20 days, 14 days blah blah!0
