Haven't heard anything back from Mr halifax yet - and he was so keen on sedning the letter out the same day they charged me £30.0

After my result with Capital One, I am now trying Sainsburys from my credit card that was closed a wee while back.
They ignored my letters and would randomly reply which didn't marry up with anything I had said in mine. Well the deadlines passed and I filed online and they have just 3 days left to acknowledge my claim or I win by default. So today, I receive a letter from them offering me £55 but no mention of the claim. Sainsburys truely are bonkers!!! I'm not accepting but waiting for the weekend and then... :T

All statements from April 2002!
I bloody know why aswell! Most of my charges were prior to that date! Barstewards! Gotta find out what the next step is now!
Phoned Natwest up and the rest of the statements are on their way!
I've already added up nealry £700 worth of charges and I've still got another 18 months worth that I'm positive will bump it to over £1,000! :j0 -
My claim was for £160 - they refunded £40 straight away and then refused to consider any more. I sent the LBA and got a 'bog off and stop bothering us' style letter.
I filed a claim and they acknowledged the very next day with an intention to defend, which scared me a bit. Then about 10 days later, I received a letter saying 'we don't want to waste the courts valueable time and as a gesture of goodwill we will refund blah blah.
Received the cheque today for £168 which comprised of the £120 plus £18 interest and £30 it cost me to file. Hooray!
I am quite keen to send a thank you card to Mr Robert Urdy, but have resisted the temptation so far!!!
What's your story Glitterari?

To anyone who has done the money claim thing
Im jst got the screens up for my money claim, gave Ltsb 14 days, and advised on the BAG to go for court now.
In moneyclaimonline it asks for my "reference" not being numb but I presume thats my account number, is it? Amos? Glitterari? Anyone?? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

Would anyone be kind enough to tell me who to make the £10 cheque payable to? I admit I haven't read back on this thread but have read the CAG pages. My brain is pickled.
Thanks,Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0
