Without wishing to sound petty but I did post earlier that I had read all ten pages of this thread- maybe that was too much for me in one go, but I only asked a question, i didn't expect to get gently flamed for it. I'm on other threads where people innocently ask a question all the others may know the glaringly obvious answer to but if I can answer I do. Good for you if you know all about how to do your claim. i have been on the BAG/CAG site but sometimes its explained better by someone on here.0 -
I'm not flaming you specifically, if flaming at all, just pointing out to everyone who is asking the basic questions that are covered here and on the CAG/BAG website that a re-read probably wouldn't go amiss.
People have to realise that this action is going to start a legal process that may end up in court and if people don't understand the basics of things like the Statue of Limitations Act then maybe they shouldn't be pursuing their bank charges.0 -

HSBC have offered me a FULL REFUND as a full and final - that's £647!!!!
Didn't even need to do moneyclaim.

Well done glitterari - great news, i've found £300 of charges so far - have another trip to the loft. I'm going to find out how I can get my records of a closed barclaycard and closed barclays mortgage and go through them. Well done, a nice result!0

Well I've had my satements for last year through from Abbey - no sign of any back to 2000, so I've just written a chase letter as they only have 7 more days left to comply.
Added up last years charges - £750!!!! All at the end of semester - April/May and July/August - so much for free student banking!!!
I'll hang on unmtil I get the rest - sent letter to head of Abbey as well!!Noli nothis permittere te terere

i am now at the stage of wanting to take cap one and lloyds to court,
i have been on moneyclaim.gov strted to fill in the form and got myself stuck.Can anyone help with Particulars of claim i have been to the the libary section of consumeractiongroup but when i paste it across to moneyclaim.gov it tells me i have used to many letters.
can anyone help with a shorter version i can use??
