I did include the wording and a copy of the spread sheet showing the interest up to that day with the County Court claim. I did my claim direct to the court so it is a bit different from on line.
I have now checked and somebody else on the BAG website did exactly the same as me and got their interest so Im writing another letter tonight. It brings my claim up to £725 + court fee :T

    But still a success!

I was charged a £30 fee for the non-payment of a £9 DD. I'd already sent an email, but after reading this thread I sent the initial letter from the BAG site.

    20 April £30 charged levied
    20 April Email sent
    21 April BAG letter sent
    26 April Charge refunded

    It can be done!

    Thanks all!

Sent my bank letter before action asking for money back a few weeks ago. On Monday I had enough money in my account to start court proceedings but didn't need to as had a message saying "blah blah blah...After reviewing your complaint a refund of the charges applied to your account has been agreed..blah blah blah" and £1600ish is on its way back to my account. RESULT :T

I today filed my claim against Capital One on the MoneyClaim site for £160. Lets see what Mr Udy has to say about that!

I sent my Letter Before Action to HSBC yesterday, after they ignored my prelim. That request is for about £650.

If I get the full charges back then that will shave about 2 months off my semi DFD and means I can save money to go to uni in Sept - rather than just insuring that my debts are paid off.

Well Halifax have at last acknowledged my request for 6 yrs worth of statments and they said i will recieve them by the 29th May. Can i include ALL bank charges in this time or are there only certain ones I can claim back? Also can someone tell me what I do after that please? Is there a letter I need to send outlining all these charges - if some one could pm me that would be fab - i need all the help I can get :)

    Thanks

    OK

Have read the thread and am poised to print off my letters. 2 questions though please if I may:

I have 11 creditors and 1 bank that I intend attempting to claim charges from.

Q1. Is a £5 cheque enough for each creditor to get the list of charges?
Q2. This applies to Bank Charges and Late payment fees on CCs?

    Much Thanks

    Lenny

WOOOOOHOOOOOO got mine credited to my bank account today and I havent even accepted their offer yet. Thanks to this site and the Consumer Action Group I have managed to get the lot....... charges, interest and court costs too. Im due a bonus next month so hopefully with this payout I will be able to pay off my bank loan :T so the bank are kind of getting it back anyway :rotfl:
