Damnit! So do I put these charges on a 14.5% credit card then or not:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Entirely up to you
I put them on a 0% card, (figured it was speculating to accumulate
) and will clear that card when the money arrives anyway. You WILL get your money back, (including these costs) so it might be worth it.

If you're exempt from the charges do it offline via paper and get it for free. I wouldn't claim interest on your court fee or that will look pretty desperate, I'd just pay it on the card or temporarily extend my overdraft or something. It's a small outlay for getting back so much money and you do get this fee back when you get paid.
You've got to pay upfront because the court does have work to do and staff to pay to send letters and deal with responses and stuff, and the website will cost money to run if you do it online also.
Are you adding 8% interest to your claim?0 -
I have just received my claim number through from the county court - OMG its happening:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

My barclays statements arrived today. OMG there's a lot of sheets to work through! One question though. I was up $h!t creek six years ago now, how do I claim for charges that are falling through the six year point at the moment?
EDIT
Just been through them all, and up to exactly this date 6 years ago it totals £625. That's not a lot by some standards, but when I think what I could do with that money! off to the cag website to make sure I get the next bit right!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -

That's great news, it's just waiting now. I got my offer about 2 weeks after my claim was accepted, when they filed the acknowledgment of service.0 -
Have just received letter from Abbey which reads as complete twaddle.
All it says is that they've passed my complaint (?!) onto a member of their team to investigate and will hopefully get back to me sometime in the next four weeks!
So does this count as an acknowledgement? Or just a complete fob-off?
I'm starting to get annoyed now!Wealth is not measured by currency0
