    Placed an order with Jual and received confirmation of order quite quickly. Was contacted the next day as one item was out of stock and although they said it was due in a couple of weeks, they couldn't gaurantee it. I requested them to cancel the item off my order which they did but they had already taken the money off my account (same day). They said they would put a refund on my account. After I had not received it after 10 days, I contacted them and they said it could take 28 days to credit my account. 28 days later and still no credit on my account and now I have had to pay interest as my full cc bill was not settled. Contacted Jual who said it will be processed in next 48 hours but will do nothing about my interest charge! Still waiting for the money!

    Do not give any money to this company! Poor customer service! Happy to take your money, not so happy to give back whats yours!

    I see these clowns are still up to their usual tricks. It would be funny if it wasn't so awful for customers. How this company is still in business is the only thing I cant get my head around.
  • Used jual in the past and I thought the service was good then! Used them again to fit out my new kitchen and the service I recieved was outstandin. After coming under new ownership I find that there quality of service has gone above and beyond my expectations and was delivered perfectly within the period quoted not to mention a fantastic saving of about £400 in total! Don't know where these bad posts come from, I would recommend them to anyone and they do exactly as it says on the tin!

    Lol! What stupid companies do not understand is that posts such as the above 'newbie' post stating that they are a fantastic/misunderstood company just make it even worse!

    What really stupid companies also do not understand is that the reason that they get such bad publicity and their business goes down the toilet is because their customer service is appalling. Therefore the answer is to make efforts to improve their customer service, and NOT waste their efforts trying to censor criticism and give themselves fake good publicity. Really, it is quite simple.

    What is it like working for the new owners then? ;) Hope employee's get better treatment than their customers do. <cynical grin> :rotfl:
  • excuse me, but because ive had a good experience with this company in the past and recently, maybe some of these reviews are true but no company is prefect, you can have your own opinions but my experience has been delightful and i am no employee of jual just a satisfied customer!!

    A tin usually contains what it says. These people just don't deliver, despite taking payment on order.

    Asked for compensation for cost of several visits to launderette in absence of promised washer. Offered me a £20 voucher against future purchases - if they think I am likely to order anything else from them, they must be daft.
    Matter now referred to Small Claims Court. Watch this space.
    They have also been ordered by Companies House to correct their documentation and website to show their correct name and Registered Office.

    Its strange how they state the company have changed owners ,yet i pass one of their shops every week and still see the same owners range rover parked outside the shop with personal plates on so unmistakable ,this being the same car parked outside last year when i had problems with them ,be very wary of this firm .
