Have been good and cleared the rubbish from the garden, filled the car and yet another tip run! They know me there now lol. Old bbq, kids old easel, old stool, etc. Am treating myself by paying someone to weed for me tomorrow, a friend of a friend is doing it. I really hate weeding for it all to come back a week later!
I read a post on radish's thread about it being nice having the house tidy when you are ready for a viewing and its all clutter free. I do like the house being tidy for once (sort of) but it wont stay that way lol. Too much blooming hard work walking round after the kids!

I am now watching Exile that I recorded a few weeks ago with a nice cuppa before the kids end my peace!

Forgot to say I got my tax credit letter and it states that my first payment was on 13th, so I take it that the payment on 12th is the last payment of the tax year. I dont think I will use it for anything until I see the next payment go in next month.

It's funny how much rubbish we accumulate over the years.

It took me about 5 hours to clear the house when we had a viewing. I'm not kidding and it wasn't untidy anyway. We have that much stuff but nowhere to put it all. We normally put all the prams and highchairs in our car before the viewing ...anyway seeing it all walking past must think we're mad. I then hate it though when people walked in without wiping there feet and walking mud through. One family all came in with their wellies on! I wish you luck. lol

Thanks for the add Iris, will have a nose at your pics later to put a face to the name ;) Hope they give me a few hours notice if I do get viewings (if I go ahead with it)

Have been trying to list a watch on ebay this afternoon but cant get on my photobucket account on IE or firefox. Their site must be down.
I have 11 items to do for posting tomorrow as well, its been a bit quiet this week but I am relieved in a way.

I normally got phone calls early on in the week for a weekend viewing so plently of time to sort things out and you can always say no if its not convenient for you. it's your house.

I've done ebay today too and listed 4 items and its taken me forever , the pictures went on o.k though its just writing it all out.

How long has your house been up Iris?

Am shattered already, dropped the kids off, then DD had forgotten her tie and they get told off if they dont wear it so had to go back home and get it, then popped to the bank to put a cheque in, then made the mistake of going PO on a monday morning, then went to pick the garden man up in the next village to be told he is not well and cant do it.
So saved myself £30 as I cant be bothered to wait another week so going to have to sort it out myself. I think I am going to go garden shopping to fill my baskets and pots up. I have £15 left in vouchers I can use.

I just dont want to even get started in the garden, its my pet hate - weeding.

Since October. We had a few people messing us about along the way. We reduced it around April and got an offer again straight-away.
I thought that my house was worth 145k before it was valued and then it came in at 127k with the EA and we have now agreed a price with the buyer of 120k so I know how you feel about the EA undervaluing it to what you though it was worth. "They" say houses are selling at 5% less than the asking price. Depressing isn't it but then again the house you look at and possibly buy will be cheaper too, its all swings and roundabouts.

Its not a nice day here for getting out in the garden. It's dull and looks like rain. Can't you leave it another week? lol

Hope it all goes through ok for you.

I rang the new house EA this morning and asked how much it the offer was that was put in and she said she couldnt tell me. She has kept my details in case it falls through but the buyer has already sold their house so doubt it. Looks more likely me staying here now.

Been shopping and spent £36 which leaves £20 left on my budget and also £20 left on petrol which I think is achievable.

Got 56 plants from homebase for 6p :D Used £10 voucher. got 30 petunias as I like then but my fave is Begonias got 24, they flowered long last year and I loved looking out at them. and 2 other reduced plants which have small but many pretty pink and purple flowers on, they were half price.
It is very very windy here at the moment and I dont think I will be doing much in the garden today. Might make a start :o (or might not)

That's a rather good buy on your plants, i look at the reduced ones but never manage to revive them! I know what you mean about gardening, it's never ending, We have hedges at the front which desperately need doing but it's not the kind of job you can do safely with DD about. Someone quoted me £55 to do it which I thought was rather a lot. There are a lot of retired people on my estate - I wonder if someone is bored enough to sort my garden out very cheaply!
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!
