Thanks, it's horrible to feel so sh!tty isnt. Made even more so because its a special day "supposedly".

of course my brother will deny like he has so many many times before. He's a compulsive liar, doesnt work and doesnt sign on but has credit on his phone etc. I could say so many things he has done in the past but I dont want to waste any breath over it.
I am soooo angry about it. I am going there on Thursday and I am gonna get his stuff and chuck it out on the street!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone, sorry to be a misery. Have stopped crying for now lol

Sorry I was a grouch yesterday. Treated myself to a bag and sandles with money from sis. My boss didnt even get me anything. Spoke to colleague who has been there 11 years and she says he has only got her something a few times. I cant understand that. Everyone buys for everyone at work, theres only a few of us.

Have only three house viewings tomorrow, one was too far out of town so took that off list and another has now been rented.

my mortgage balance updated and now is £67181.

I need an old mans cap and knitted vest top for DS2s ww2 school day arrggghhh where am I going to get them from. Looked in a charity shop today but nothing, will look at others tomorrow.

    Hi Pammy,

I haven't been on here for while but just read your posts over last couple of days and had to say a belated very happy birthday. You are not alone in having that happen to you, I have received nothing from my kids in the past, the eldest never ever bought me anything and its only now that my second daughter is older that she hounds my youngest to remember between them. It does hurt but keep smiling, you have loads of friends on here.

    Best wishes

I'm sorry about your birthday pammy. TBH you probably posted what a thousand other women have posted time and time before.

Most of us feel the same on birthday or mothers day. I just buy my own now. I bought my Birthday presents in the sale at Christmas but at least that way I get what I want. My older son just buys from my Amazon wish list for me. It doesn't bother me anymore but I do expect a card.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

    happy belated birthday!

sorry to hear it wasn't all you wished for, but i agree with Iris - best way of ensuring you are happy on your birthday is buying your own present! I hate birthdays - not sure why, but always have, so secretly pleased when it passes without fuss, but I know my sister gets upset with her OH as he never buys 'mummy' cards from the kids.

Hope the house viewings go well (if that is what you want! - not sure if you want to really move or not with the major mind change, but i am sure you'll know what is best/right when you see it).
