I bought my first flat and then first house whilst on my own. I was young, free and single then. It was a big responsibility but I wouldnt be where I am now if I hadnt started on the property ladder when I did. Just make sure you have adequate accident/sickness/redundancy cover and you should be fine.
You will soon know if any of the houses have the WOW factor.
Good Luck with whatever you decide

You wouldnt believe me, but I have done a map of the town and marked firstly where the supermarkets are :rotfl: then the schools, then the docs/dentists
There is one house out of the five that is in the best position for all of them as well as being close to my sisters house.
Zoopla has a map on theirs that shows where the schools are in relation to the house but there is one school they have completely missed off. It was only looking on google satellite map that I saw the other school which looks a good school as well so there are a few options for primary schools. I just dont get that their senior school only goes up to aged 14. Ours will now be 11-18 straight through.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
