When my new car got pranged a few years back, the hire car I got didn't have central door locking

I pressed the key fob, got in the car, drove off and then realized when my dad didn't answer me that he was still on the pavement waiting for me to open the passenger car door for him :)

    How dumb am I

I didn't press the key fob (as it didn't have central door locking) I opened the door with the key Doh :rotfl:

I had no tax left after this month and it all happened so quickly, I only put petrol in the night before as I knew I'd be out and about but I dont normally do it the night before, so annoying.

Looking at my figures it shows I only need to knock off another 16 months to be on target and if I can knock off a month every couple of payments I will definitely be on track if not do it sooner than my target if things dont change :)

Was a good night Caroline, even if the caller must have left the cooker on back home lol

Well done you (though was a bit worried you had nabbed one from under DS's nose as he was out looking yesterday in your area. That would have been funny :rotfl:)

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I live in London :). In the 'cheap' area though. It's a 'non happening joint' ie no clubs, restaurants, bars, cafes or anything that makes an area trendy and desirable. However it's cheap(ish), quiet, handy to work and far enough out that I don't feel crammed in. Perfect for me ;)
