Thats brilliant thank you so much. I would treat you to chocs but thought you were on a diet?? Cant have you going off the rails hehe ;)
Its Thurs May 12th, have to be there at 7.30. If its a problem dont worry.
Have spoken to ex today about having the kids, he says he will see work about holiday. All he will need to do is pick them up from me On weds eve and keep them until he drops them off at school Friday. I am sure I will be fine by the end of Thursday but dont want to chance it.

Went to PTA at school today and I was the only parent there! The school has 240 kids you would think that even a couple of parents would be bothered.

Have come home and the weather has spurred me to do some work in the back garden. Its a mammoth job I can tell you. I worked for just under two hours and I havent even scratched the surface! I have filled my new garden waste bin already which gets emptied tomorrow thankfully. My hands and arms are full of scratches :(
I have a bramble bush on the other side of my bottom wall so its the houses on the other sides alley way. It has overgrown loads into my garden and I have tried to cut most of it back but obviously I am not going to go in their alleyway and clear it. Its not my responsibility. I am going to email the council and see if they would come and clear it, but failing that I will put a letter through the house to ask them politely.

Its amazing what a bit of sunshine does for your energy levels!

Glad you got your lift sorted. Shame we don't live a bit closer, right county but wrong town!

Just checking you are aware of the massive asda/tesco DTD threads both on here and on PTS? Is very moneysaving (and addictive!!) and could help you divert more money to your mortgage pot. :D

I missed a week as was away, but have more than made up for it! I haven't been taken to cs once, have had supervisors called over a couple of times but thats only because they don't know what to do with the vouchers! If you buy the right items its a fantastic promotion!

And yes, we should def meet up again. Do you still get a day off in the week or not, can't remember? Me and a couple of the others still meet for coffee every couple of months on a Mon or Tue morning.

I think I just realised what you mean about DTD, I thought you meant about prices been set up wrong but you mean about tesco and asda price war and getting money back. I should really look into it as there is an asda near work now.

I have mondays off usually but I am waiting to do a 10 week preperation course for joining the homestart team for helping families in their homes so dont know when that will start or what day it will be. I think it starts in May though so could meet up next month?

pammy - I used to work in a company where several people had liftshare buddies. DH registered ages ago but no-one suitable has shown up yet.

Yes I am in our local exchange scheme. Don;t use it loads but feel it is a good option to have available.

Glad your lift fairy turned up :D

Sounds good, send me a pm if I forget to sort something out.

You don't need to go into asda, basically you buy anything in tesco which is MORE EXPENSIVE than asda, input your receipt on tesco website, and they send you a voucher for DOUBLE the difference. So far you've missed out on free wine, baileys that ended up costing 81p a litre, free groceries, free shampoo etc etc. There have also been some dvd's they have been matching, for example How to Drain Your Dragon was £12 in tesco, £7 in asda, a difference of £5 so you were getting £10 back meaning it cost £2 (this has now been put down to £7 in tesco).

Its a huge thread but well worth getting your head round, as there is lots of freebies to be had.

    Am feeling really sh!te tonight.
Ex has said that he cant have the kids when I go into hospital as he cant get the time off work but has kindly asked his parents, who arent well to have them. He then states that I am always pushing the kids onto him, always trying to get rid of them!! And that one day they will live with him, he is sure of it.
What a total loser. He has them about 30/365 nights a year and thinks hes hard done to!
I even said is there another date he could have them and I will see if I can change my appt, he says he has no holiday left and cant afford to have unpaid time off. Always has an answer to get out of it.

I cant believe that he is threatening me that he is going to take the kids off me when he wont even have them longer than he needs too. How ridiculous! That would mean that she would look after them and there's no way she would want to do that. I think he thinks thats his trump card that he brings out to really hurt me.
I asked him if he had a conscience about being a good father. ggrrrrrr arrghhhh @#^%&$!

I just want to scream, why do I have to have these carppy people in my life, why cant their dad be like my friend who jumps at the chance to have his kids whenever and loves having them.

I want to move far far away with Shrek!!!!!!

What a total g*t! No wonder you are so wound up, not only will he not help but he has to lash out saying that as well, he knows just how to get you where it hurts.:(
Stay strong Pammy, you are doing a fantastic difficult job by yourself, there is no point on wasting energy getting stressed out by him, what goes around comes around in my opinion, when your kids are grown up with their own families they will see just how much you have achieved on your own for them. Big hugs, and I hope you can get someone to help with the kids. :grouphug:
