I am just under halfway at mo as havent been checking it as often as I should. Have done 3 on there today. I like how they dont have names now so you dont know what its about at first. saves people making things up to do the survey.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

How did parents evening go? I bet they were stars!
Are you free on Wednesday, it's my only free evening! Swimming, school friend for tea, opticians and sports club - Sam's social life is hectic!0 -
They always say the same thing really but as with last time they made me feel like carp. DD is very good at her school work etc but they say she has been feeling a bit low over the past few weeks. They mentioned about me suffering with my tooth and that she was worried and then they went on to say that she had been attention seeking and doing silly things and that maybe she was being hormonal! They said that when she talks to them she gets upset and sometimes just wants a cuddle. Its almost like they were saying that I wasnt a good mother and that DD was being deprived!! They said that DD tells them that she is having probs with her brother and I never tell him off. I came out feeling angry and upset about it all. I feel like writing a letter to the school but I do know that DD can be a drama queen and does seek attention.
DS always gets praise for his lovely and helpful attitude and they wish that they could mould him blah blah. His reading has jumped up to 7 years 10 months now and he is definitely wanting to read more now. His writing on the other hand is just about passable but he still hates literacy. There are pieces of work that are really good writing so he can do it when he is in the right frame of mind. He is having extra handwriting lessons.
Got my letter from the hospital today to say I am at the top of the list. I bet when I ring there is still a month or so before an appt is available though. Can live in hope as I really would like a decent nights sleep, the toothace and headaches and earaches to go and to stop taking paracetomols like smartiesI am not being a good mum to the kids because of it as I am always tired when I get in from work. I am so tired now but my eldest is coming over tomorrow with his gf so I need to tidy up.
Caroline we are around on wednesday so pencil us in unless you get a viewing of course.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Kids did AMAZING at swimming today. We went for the distance swimming. DD was aiming for 32 and DS was aiming for 16. Their previous attempts were 21 and 9 respectively. I couldnt believe when they both just kept going. DD then had to stop due to bad cramp and she was completely gutted but she still did 40 lengths. DS kept going and going and did an amazing 68 lengths (a whole mile) I couldnt believe it and if they werent closing we would have carried on but he was the last one in the pool lol. DD was so disappointed in getting cramp and the fact her brother did more than her but wow what an achievement from them so younhg. I cant even do a couple of lengths without being tired!
DS1 came today with his gf and it was great. She is lovely. Kids loved their big brother being here.
My food and diesel budget is going to be off the scale this month. I have £35 left for the month and I am going to Coventry next weekend which is an extra £15 in diesel. (sssh I didnt include the kids £10 mcds treat for swimming today)

I bet the kids needed the Mcds swimming that far. I used to be able to swim like that for hours. Back in the days. I am too old and lardy now, and don't like getting my hair wet.
Sounds like you are having a good weekend.0 -
LOL that's me too Michelle! I hate getting my hair wet.
They did so well. I'll because lucky if Sam takes his feet off the ground.
I'm glad you liked the girlfriend. I bet you loved having number one son visit.0 -
I went to bed at 10pm last night, why is it that I can manage to do that on a weekend day but not in the week when I need it more. Had 10 hours sleep!!
Was hoping it would still be sunny today so I can sort out some of the garden but looks cold out there.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Its such a nice day again today so I am going to.....clean the windows!! I bet my neighbours will be shocked as my windows havent been cleaned for a couple of years
If I still feel energetic I may even start the garden
Just rang the hospital to get me booked in. Its so difficult. I have to be at the hospital at 7.30am!! How ridiculous. No movement on the time at all, have to be there for that time. What on earth am I going to do about getting the kids to school. Its really stressing me out big time. Also I cant really do it over the easter holidays and the doctor is going away after then so next available is middle of may.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
