Sam cried when we got home because he hadn't finished playing with Dylan! It's a proper bromance.

Nice to see you do have back up. Lovely of Caroline and Gally to offer help. See, you do have some.
Shame the tooth is still giving you grief. You are so efficient at money making now i dread to think how much more you would make if you were on all cylinders.0 -
I drugged up about 11pm last night and went to sleep shortly after, woke up again at 12.45 and in agony again. Slapped on clove oil and went back to sleep, woke up at 7.40 so not too bad a sleep last night.
Am going to test drive a peugeot 207 tomorrow afternoon, its green! I dont like green but this is nice sporty metalic green so I am making an exception and I like the look of the inside of the car too. Its ins group 3 and £30 tax and diesel so everything I am looking for apart from the size of the boot. i'll see tomorrow and if they let me buy it for £6k haha.
Attempted to make toad in the hole tonight and the batter didnt work very well. My mistake I think was not having enough oil heated up before pouring the batter in. I will attempt it again next week but at least I tried and everyone is saying its so easy to makenot for a dumbo like me!

Ooh exciting test driving again. I hope it is what you want. We pick ours up tomorrow. Can't wait.
I find the key to a good toad in the hole is really hot fat. I put some butter and the sausages in the oven for 10-15 minutes to start it off, i then turn the sausages over and add the batter. I also try not to make the batter too thick or it doesn't go crispy, although DH likes it when it is all soft and chewy still. Worth another experiment. Did the kids eat it though?
Anyway hope you are in less pain tonight. Some extra sleep is definitely helpful in keeping you going.0 -

So when do you get it?? how old is she? How was your car insurance quote? I found mine reasonable for a change of car but DH's not so much.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
