Have got a few recipes that I am going to threaten, I mean tryout with the kids over the next few weeks. Have copied them onto a word doc to print off and laminate. Anyone else who wants to add any easy recipes inc veg but not spicy/garlicy would be glad to see them :)

Can you add veg into toad in the hole? or is it better to have as a side food?
Can i make pizza dough without yeast? I dont want to buy yeast and i want to have a go without pizza mix
Would you say I need to invest in a good tefal pan? I have argos and capital bonds vouchers I could use. I have a cheap non stick tesco pan.
Do I need to change the title of my thread to An idiots guide to cooking ??? :D

You'll be fine , better titled ..."Pammy adds more recipes to her collection other than mince!" :)

Add the veg on the side with the toad in the hole, it'll look better too.

Why don't you want to buy yeast? You can buy 2 small packs at Mr L's ( I think you go there anyway don't you? ) 29p i think. You need the yeast or the dough won't rise. You need about 1/2 teaspoon. the yeast is in grains ,You just measure it out. It's very easy to do.

We'll see how you go on with the recipes you have for now going off your potato incident! :D;) You'll be fine, don't worry.

Don't buy a pan yet - use your T one. Don't waste your money. :)
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

    Morning Pammy :)

You can add veg with toad in the hole, you need to roast it first with the sausages otherwise it can go soggy.

My Mum has a yeast free pizza base recipe, I'll ask her for it :) been meaning to for a ages. I tried to make pizza bases this week - they were edible :o I think I just need practise.

Do your kids like enchiladas? You can stirfry a load of veg with garlic and herbs, wrap them up in the enchiladas. Put them in a baking dish and pour over tom sauce and cheese. Its one of my fav dishes, or if I'm being lazy I layer it like a lasgne.

    Pan Pizza Recipe

Hi again :) I've just found my pan pizza recipe, its a cheats pizza :D you cook it in a frying pan:

Mix 1 mug self raising flour with half mug cold water, little salt and a glug of oil until it makes a dough. (theres enough here for 2 pizzas) Roll out dough - use plenty of flour cos its sticky. Put a little oil in frying pan on a medium heat. Place pizza base in pan and cook till light brown, turn over. As base is cooking use some of your pasta sauce to cover pizza base, then top with cheese etc. When underneath of base is crisp and brown, put pizza under grill to finish off the top.

    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 180 ml milk

Mix then pour into loaf tin and bake until golden and 'done' when a skewer prodden in it comes out clean. Thank you for recipes, will add them to my lists :)

Am shattered after our day out today. The weather was fab :) Could almost cry at how much more it cost than I thought :( £11.30 return bus, £14 in cafe for food. I was sitting there thinking I can buy 80 tbags for how much this 1 tea cost me. The museum wasnt a patch on our local museum, ours is much better. And the fave part of the day for the kids, wait for it..... playing in Hawkins Bazaar shop lol
Tried to look in shops we dont have to get my mum something for her bday/mothers day with my vouchers but didnt see anything. Its also DS1s 17th next month. I have £53 in amazon vouchers but unsure what to get him either. I know he is gonna start driving lessons as soon as but think his dad will sort that out.

I see that Argos are taking paypal now so that will be good for me. Ebay profits are at £149 this month.

Need to rest my head a bit now, old git that I am.
