Loving the recipe ideas ppl have passed on - maybe my boyf will get a nice meal this weekend! My slow cooker has arrived (birthday pressie) and the toad in the hole with added veg sounds good!
Know what you mean about the price of a day out - took my neice and nephew out, amazing how it all adds up.
What about gig tickets for your DS1's birthday - i know that is what i would have loved and ticketmaster now sell giftcards, you can buy then in lots of supermarkets, so maybe you can buy them with vouchers or at least earn points?
or if he wants to learn to drive pay for his theory test, i know a test fee doesn't sound like a great present, but i got some lessons for my bday from my parents but had to pay for the theory test out of my wages from part time job - remember putting it off for ages because I couldn't afford it. So if you ex-OH is paying for lessons, you could help with the essential extrasMort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.100 -
That is a fantastic idea Baby as he loves his gigs. That is top of my ideas list now, thanks. Will have a look about using vouchers to get them, doubt you can but worth looking into. Also the theory test idea is good too, I'll look into how much they are. I have seen a pc cd for theory on amazon so I could get him that and do a voucher to pay for his theory test. Just had a look and the test is £31

Hi Pammy
Mum's sent me her pizza recipe so I thought i'd pop it on here for you to have a look at. She always made it with a thick base.
"Hi the recipe is 10 oz s/r flour 2oz butter or marg, make this into breadcrumbs then add salt and milk until it's a soft consistency then knead lightly then either roll out or push into shape. Very badly written but hopefully you can understand."
I did not realise you could get ticketmaster giftcards! How brilliantCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Have Michelles Cowboy Hash in the slow cooker for batch cooking as I had to use the mince I left out the freezer. Didnt have oxtail soup though so chucked in veg soup and some lentils to bulk it out
Have just checked my Mr T account online to see what cc vouchers I have left and have made a note of the codes for when I want to order our days out for our holiday in July. Wondering whether to order them now as they have to be used in 6 months as knowing my luck they wont be on there when I want to order. I have £134 in deals to use and a £10 one at home that I need to re put on my account. Cant remember how to do it though.
Woke up to a sunny day surprisingly but now the rain has comeAm going to take advantage of the kids not being here and going to have a peaceful soak in the bath before I crack on with the ironing so I dont have to do it later. Have a list as long as your arm again of things to do but am off tomorrow as well so will stretch it all out
Had a relaxing afternoon yesterday catching up on all the programmes I had recorded over the week. I am now at a loss of what to watch as TV is pants over the weekend.
Had a whole weekend of no spending. Thought I might need crisps for kids pack up but realised I had packets of cookies still so they can have them. So I still have £29 left of my fuel/food budget and one day left
Am frustrated at toluna not putting the survey pts on after a few days as i know I am definitely over 80k again for my next voucher. (3rd this year)
Have been slack with surveys but I think I need to have a few days off from them every now and then or I will just keep resenting doing them. Its lovely to get the vouchers tho when they come
DS1 rang me last night to say he will be coming over in a few weeks with his gf. Straight away I was cynical as its just around his birthday, what a coincidence eh? Really annoys me but hey thats what teenagers are like I guess.

Let me know what you think of the cowboy hash.
That will be nice to see your eldest. It has been a long while hasn't it, so i guess, best to enjoy while he is doing it and hope he chooses to repeat it sooner. Will it be the first time you have met the Gf?0 -
yeah but see her on FB, she is very pretty. He has been here once since xmas for the weekend (the time when he didnt realise there was a party and then wanted me to take him back grrr) I have to take a step back and let him have this great social life that he has now (that I was never allowed to have)
I had a bit of the hash with jacket spud this evening as kids had already eaten at nannys today. It was goodHalf of it will be used tomorrow for shepherds pie and will add some beef stock to it.
Did a couple of hours ironing this afternoon which is not like me at all! I also had my lovely soak. Kids then arrived, we had about an hour on Just Dance 2. Its brilliant. Kids were laughing there head off at me wiggling ma thang!
Have a few things left to do tomorrow, hope it isnt raining in the morning so can walk the kids to school.
I did a run for cancer research two years ago and my sis asked if I wanted to do it again. DD wants to do it too but she is only 9 and if I do it I want to jog as well as walk. she says she will train with me but I think 10k (6 miles) might be a bit much for her. I said we would practice and walk around pitsford reservoir which is 7 miles and a really lovely walk but very very long! I used to use it for training.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Bank has updated for tomorrow so I have my new figure to start next month. It annoys me there are two payments that come out at the end of the month
Anyway with ctax free and ebay money gone in and £20 saved on petrol this month I can OP £200 for the start of March :j
Dont think it will be any more than that now though as lots of birthdays coming up again and mothers day.
Right kids lunches to do, sort out ever increasing odd sock box in the hope to find some pairs and then bed
Night all x
