    Don't you just love people like that? Was she one of those people who can eat whatever they want and not put on any weight by any chance?

    No she's not ... but she loves herself and think that everyone loves her too.. she's got such a bad attitude the majority of people tend to run or avoid her.. she's totally arrogrant in her views.. but I've known her since school so prob why she thought she could get away with that dig. There's loads I could comment on her about.. but it's not in my nature to pick the worst in people and then prove how much I'm better (which is what she does!!).

    If anything she's made me more determined... I guess some people are here to test us!!!:rolleyes:

    Good for you. If there are really people here to test us, I must have failed miserably by now :o:D

    K9cuddles she obviously has insecure issues of her own if she felt the need to say things, you've done really well.

    I played badminton yesterday for an hour in place of a run. It was great fun and a good workout but the first time in about four years, and shamefully this morning I had to take paracetamol for the awful ache in my arm!!

    Greetings all....haven't been around for a while courtesy of holidays and catching up on work, but here's the latest.....

    My friend and I have decided to ditch WW and employ a MSE tactic. We've roped in her Mum to oversee the weekly weigh-in's and we have to hand her our £5, which she will bank for us. We still use all the WW stuff, cards etc but we just don't pay them any money. At the end of all this we get ALL that money back to spend on new clothes instead of having to pay out again. So simple really! 2 lb down too - wooohoooo.:j

    Have read some of the backlog of posts and there are some brilliant efforts in there and also some rather moving ones. Good on ya all!!!!:T :T :T

    "Based on what you know about him in history books, what do you think
    Abraham Lincoln would be doing if he were alive today?

    (1) Writing his memoirs of the Civil War.
    (2) Advising the President.
    (3) Desperately clawing at the inside of his coffin."

    Said Einstein, "I have an equation
    Which to some may seem rabelaisian:
    Let V be virginity
    Approaching infinity;
    Let P be a constant persuasion;

    "Let V over P be inverted
    With the square root of Mu inserted
    N times into V ...
    The result, Q.E.D.,
    Is a relative!" Einstein asserted.

    Start a sound business... I have lost 2 stone LOL what with lifting gear which quite literally weighs a ton and the 27 hours you work straight, it's a diet! I should market it, for the advanced group you get the debt, so you can't afford to eat and the stress shifts a few more pounds. Move over weight watchers here I come!

    On a more serious note, walking is great. Especially nice evenings with your partner. it's a good time just to chat to each other too without the telly on and other distractions. Start a food diary so you can see exactly what you are eating, put every thing in there. You can do it online at either

    https://www.fitday.com which is american so not ideal because not all UK foods are listed. There is a UK one which is https://www.weightlossresources.co.uk there is a free trial with this one but to do it forever costs £9 per month. My tip is to track everything for 2 of the days really honestly, every cup of tea... everything and print it out so you see your actual normal calories for the day. Then on the last day of the trial put in all of the foods you eat reguarly everything you can think of with the usual quantity. Print that too. You can then just do it youself for free. Make a spreadsheet (which is what I did) or if you don't want to be that rigid just use it as a guide.
