Using the free Kelloggs pedometer, I have now entered my 5th week of the 8 week plan.

So far I have walked from Dublin to Cork (169.4km) = 225909 steps!!

Wow....but it could be better. All the rubbish weather we had for weeks prevented me going out for walks at lunchtime.

I don't weigh myself so I don't know if I have lost any weight but my bum/thighs look and feel a bit better and no clothes feel 'tight' so it must be doing something.

    You're doing well there, LA.

I haven't weighed myself this week - my gym sent me an email this week to ask me why I haven't been for two weeks ( ) which was depressing enough! I didn't need to compound the agony!

Feeling lighter thanks to a combination of homemade soup (lots of it!) and studying but I won't weigh myself now until after exams - then I'll devote my whole time to FFW-ness!

    Have a good Sunday, y'all!
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

    Hi everybody!!!
Can i join in too unfortunatley i have spent the last few hours sitting on my !!! drinking tea and eating cherry muffins reading all the posts here i feel so motivated so i have weighed myself and will update my signature shortly. used to go to ww and still have the book somewhere under my bed so will dig it our just now i am going to dig out my bike and cycle to the shops about 3 miles away for some healthy food (thats the plan anyway) and see if i can cycle off some of those muffins. I also have a new neighbour who showed me photos of herself and she has lost 10 stones 3 and a half pounds with ww and exercise and i am so jealous so i might check out the council gym while i am at the shops.
    need motivation
    dont need muffins and chocolate.
    regards

Welcome Mrs A! What a fantastic source of inspiration you have in your neighbour!

    I wish you hadn't mentioned cherry muffins though...... ;)

Good luck, you can do it.

Hi Mrs A. Good luck with your weight loss.

I am on a high today, as I have weighed myself and have lost 7lb since 25th May. :j :j Definitely motivated now, especially since I put on 4lb in the first few days, might have been all the extra exercise.

If I can do it, so can anyone. :o:D

Still doing good. Although one of the local pubs had a mini beer festival yesterday so we went to that (Had 2 pints which is good for me!) Then cam back and had a bbq with our friends whic we all enjoyed.

Just done a yogalates video will do that one once a week. combined with the 2 different step videos.

I didn;t lose any weight over the past week, I like Uberzoldat think it's down to the exercise that i have been doing as I haven;t done any for so long
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

    Well done nutty!

Keep going, things will start shaping up pretty good soon. Don't ever forget that muscle weighs more than fat (and you'll get more toned muscle) so as long as you are feeling more energised and clothes start to feel looser, don't be a slave to the scales.

(I never weigh myself unless I am at a friends house who has them and feeling curious!!)

    Still running! Went at lunchtime.

I haven't measured myself again yet so don't know if progress has been made, might do it at the end of the week (I plan to run at least twice more this week, luckily there are several of us in the building who run so there is always someone for me to tag along behind! though is embarrassing as I am usually the worst, huffing and puffing)

Eating lots of fruit in place of "bad" snacks, even made a courgette cake/loaf thing with excess courgettes from my organic box and used less sugar than recipe said, took a bit to work today, has to be healthier than chocolate surely?! I hate courgettes but they were ok in a cake...!
