:rotfl: :rotfl: You should get lost more often! You can find great things like that!!
Bet you're not fat!!! Stop stressing about it and love yourself!! You'll have a lot more fun that way!
No, I think she is very silly for doing it:rolleyes: This is the friend I talked about before. She's not fat!
I think that is silly, bet blokes fancy you but you just don't let yourself see it!:p And anyway, that's a bad way to think, that a bloke will only fancy you if you're slim. Don't let those magazines brainwash you!!
xx
I know. I wasnt in a rush to get home so I didnt really matter - at least I can say I've been to Battersea now!!
Oh, your skinny friend. Stupid girl! (no offence). I would just have to switch off every time she mentioned it. There's nothing worse than skinny people going on and on and on and on about it!!
I'll never be thin thin, but want to get rid of my love handles :rotfl: - being tall I feel like an elephant half the time!! Its just depressing that I try so hard & nowt happens. Grrrrrrrr!!0 -
I want to fit into my size 10's again by September so i am going to start walking the neighbours dogs as they don't get out much and that way i won't be tempted into the shops as i won't be allowed in them:T :jon this day 23/05/1430

Size 10???? I'd be delighted to get down to a size 14 LookingAhead kindly thought I was after my "embryo in a wonderbra" incident - hehehe.
Love the tip about walking dogs - shame I'm terrified of the things! Anyone need a cat-walker?:D0 -
Heya cuddlies!
Nice to drop in on you very quickly. All very hectic for me right now, not much thinking about exercisebut not putting any on at least
I thought you might all appreciate this website: http://www.fluideffect.com It's the site of a professional photo retoucher, for magazines and the like. The 'hectic' for me has been spending 10 hours a day at a computer retouching photos (don't ask...... ) and someone mentioned this site out of interest. But I think its most interesting for the magazine images etc, it shows before and after images of the retouching done to models in advertising etc before the images are published. Click on "before/after" to see the images and there's a button to switch between before and after - fascinating the difference between the two.
I think a lot of people don't realise how much changing and retouching is done, or is possible even, and consequently come to see magazine images of models etc as a realistic goal. Which, of course, they're not! If young girls could see how much these supposed 'perfect' models have flaws just like everyone else perhaps they'd not feel so negative about themselves in comparison.... *sigh*
Just to be clear, its not this kind of retouching that I do! I'm a photographic art student, not spending my days disguising rolls of fat on semi-naked women :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

Wow Kathfisch that is a GREAT site!! It absolutely reaffirms what I have thought about the media & magazines for the last 2 decades. They are the ones who have a lot to answer for - they are the ones who massively help women (not exclusively but mainly I feel) develop low self esteem as they go through life bombarded with images; feeling that they just cannot even begin to compete with these uber babes and spending a fortune or taking drastic action to become, somehow, more acceptable in this superficial world.
It's a bloody outrage.
Thanks for posting it Kath, I for one think you should sleep easy tonight knowing you've done something to reveal this nonsense. :TBank Balance: In the black for the moment.

it's not my weigh day till next week but i've lost 4lb after (to me) stuffing my face!
I've already lost a bit of weight (from a 22-16/18 depends on what make clothes!) but was at a standstill.
Have discovered though, nesquick brekkie bars (1.32 bogof at tesco) and it's like having a choccy bar but half the calories, and at the mo. half the price!
