If I dont exercise the weight doesnt shift. And I need to practically go every day!!

Happy Anniversary - enjoy the salad!! :rotfl:
Life is too short to be obsessive over everything you eat, but it is tough when you want to lose weight & try really hard but it just doesnt happen!!
Although my sister is worried about her weight/figure I have to say that she never comments or critisizes (sp?) me - so I cant fault her for that. Not that I would listen if she did - that is just harsh!! xx0 -
aw thanks girls!, i learnt to ignore them the only problem is teh seed has been sown but im not watering it im losing weight because i want to but im getting fit as that feels more important too me you know? i want to continue to run even after ive lost all my weight(if i do lol)

Hey girls (and guys
)
Try not worry about those annoying stick thin sisters / mothers etc. We are all trying to eat well and exercise regularly - and its bl**dy hard to do while spending so little money too!! I reckon that makes us pretty healthy and pretty admirable people so dont let anyone else put you down.
At the end of the day someone who is 'overweight' (according to the ridiculously old and outdated official guides) but eats well and is making an attempt to increase their fitness is a MUCH healthier person than someone who eats rubbish (or doesnt eat!), does no exercise but just happens to be stick thin.
My brother has always been skinny and ive always been overweight (much more when i was a kid than now). All our lives he has eaten nothing but pizza, steak and chips (i dont think he eats 5 portions of fruit in a month!) I've always eaten healthy meals with tons of fruit & veg but always been bigger than him. Maybe its something in the genes! The only bright side i can see is his face looks like a pizza and i havent had a spot for years :rotfl:0 -
Might be a dull question, but what is body pump? I live out in the sticks - and have never heard of it!!!
On the positive side - I got my 2 stone award on Monday night (in fact I have lost 2 stone 1.5lbs). It can be done - one day at a time. I am now doing 50 miles(ish) a week on my bike and swimming half a mile. For a girl that was on 6 March over six stone overweight. I have lost nearly a third of the weight I have to lose and I anticipate it will take at least another year to lose the next four and a half. I want to lose enough to take up jogging at the end of September. My aim is to be able to run the Race for Life next year without stopping (bearing in mind the longest distance I have run b4 is to the car, when it is raining)!!
My tip... buy a bag of sugar for every 2lbs you lose/have lost. Stack them up and oh my god that is enough to spur you on. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE."I will be debtfree":p0 -
Yooohoooooo Cuddlies......hope everyone is well and doing MinnieMotivator's daily workouts!
Am back from holiday, nicely rested, tanned and....ummmmm....6 lb heavier...:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: .....worst thing is I was sooooo goood - ate healthily and made a big effort to keep the drinkies by the pool to a minimum
. I'm hoping some of that might be water retention rather than vodka retention!
Some serious work is needed before next Tuesday's weigh-in....lots of walking, salad-munching and water drinking.....and money earning as I appear to be utterly "brassic". Any tips for losing 8 lb and earning £2K in a week?
It's good to be back.....I missed you all!!0
