piglet6 wrote:Hi folks
Haven't posted on this thread for a while, as I had a bit of a "bad patch" weight-wise:o , and didn't think my input would be terribly helpful here... ("put on again this week, put on again this week, stayed the same this week, put on again this week", etc etc!!).
However, I hauled my "ever-expanding bottom" back onto the wagon this week:p , and finally had a loss at WW on Friday and am feeling more focussed again, so I have updated my signature and am back on board again.:T
Will try to stick with it and be a more supportive member of the thread going forwards. Well done to those who have had a good week this week, and big hugs :grouphug: and lots of support to anybody who needs them.

Hiya folks,
Well I just got back into the shireI'm sooo exhausted but I've burnt loads of fat this weekend, in fact I've been off the scale for a bit too which is a bit mega
I did have 2 mini splurges which I shouldn't have done thoughFirstly I was pecking at some sunflower seeds and they were so nice I ate more than I probably should have but no biggie, and I also drank a small glass of normal cola too which had sugar in which was bad. Not loads, but enough to be a bit naughty, but I didn't really feel bad at myself because I had such a good weekend in general and it was like a bit of a treat.
The weather's been a bit crap and I was hoping to spend some more time outside but meh, I busied myself inside this weekend doing some DIY too (putting up blinds, hanging pictures, fixing a loose toilet seat, de-squeeking doors etc. etc.) In fact I spent like 6 hours doing DIY stuff and I never realised how much effort it takes, even I was sweating a lot and I can normally dance for like 8 hours before breaking a sweat so I was like whooa, DIY is like the way ahead for exercise lol.
I did lots of dancing too this weekend and drank only water all the time. I'm gonna do a weigh-in on Friday and I'm sure I should get some positive results. Top banana to the poster who's drinking lots more water now (forgot username sorry lol), it's definitely really smart as it gives you clearer skin too and other benefits.
Congrats to all the folks who have had a good weekend and those that got back on the bandwagon, it's nice to know that people are still determined even if they did decide that it wasn't totally possibleKeep at it y'all!! :T :T :T

P.S. forgot to mention, besides DIY for good exercise nothing quite beats a good roll around in the hay too lolEverybody should get a little filth in their life and that's a FFW order!! :rotfl:

Sounds like you had a good weekend there, amos!
Love the DIY suggestion. I've got plans to overhaul Spender Towers once the dreaded exams are out of the way. Made do with a bit of a clutter bust this weekend instead (inbetween the obligatory revision!). Cleared out the cupboard-which-thought-it-would-burst and found some nice jewellery that I'd forgotten about which I polished up and which now looks lovely and bling (I thought I'd find hidden treasure!)! I now have lots of lovely new storage space and bags to bin, recycle or hike to Oxfam! Also managed to clean the outside of the windows which worked up quite a sweat in itself (using the miracle Stardrops and vinegar, of course). And if feng shui is anything to go by, clearing clutter shifts weight too (here's hoping - watch this space).
I also loved the suggestion of filth and rolling in the hay. Not much chance of that happening in the near future, but keep y'all fingers crossed on that score! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Have a great week, FFWs! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

Hello,
Hope you don't mind me joining this thread. Fell off the ww bandwagon a couple of months ago, and weighed myself this am, to find I had gained 8lbs!
So, thats it! Going on holiday on 12th August, and aiming to lose a stone!
I know i can do it, just need a little support, so will keep posting on here, if thats ok, because somehow i think i will stick to it better if i post about my ups and downs.\
Off now for a pint of water...........
Thanks Guys

I hate my sister sometimes (not really, but you know what I mean!!).
Bearing in mind I started my diet on Friday, I just got a text from her saying:
"Blah blah blah. on Weightwatchers again, lost 5 1/2 lbs last week, get weighed tomorrow. blah blah blah"
EVERYTIME i re-start my diet she just knows and texts me things like this. I CANT lose as much weight as she can (although I dont think she eats properly when she diets, i.e. nothing!!), but it really gets to me!! I know it sounds pathetic, but just as I start out, she always seems to "beat me".
It drives me nuts!!! I obviously am jealous, not going to deny that!!

I sympathise ms london, I've just done my weekly weigh in, and have only lost 1lb!!! That's all I've lost in a fortnight! Oh well, I suppose its better than a poke in the eye. Congrats to all who've been doing well and keep up the good work! I've ordered my self a lateral thigh trainer thingy off ebay, not very dfw I know, (it was £44 inc. p&P!!!) but I don't care, if I can't buy choccies, chineses etc, I gotta buy something!:DTotal debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:

As people say "A lb is better than nothing" - doesnt make it any easier though does it? Especially when you've been SOOOOOOoooOOOOOO good!!
My sister only has to look at the scales to have lost weight. C*W!!
I do feel better generally for eating healthier, but it gets so boring doesnt it - and if you are watching your pennies at the same time its even worse!!!!
Can do the whole debt free thing, just need to tackle this now!!
Well done on the lb though Neveranymoney - if you've ever seen 10 years younger or anything like that. When they remove a lb of skin (under surgery, not just for the fun of it, hehe!), its a lot more than you think it would be - so its got to be good (although it doesnt sound like much and you always want to lose more!!).
I just want to be thin0
