Good luck MinnieSpender, both with revision and exams. You will be missed but passed exams will hopefully mean a payrise which means more money to throw towards debts which means DF a lot quicker.
Everything crossed for you and for SoScrooge.

Thanks soscrooge and fishface for your kind words, fishface, I'm sitting with cabbage leaves on my erm affected area and am feeling much better!;) I think i should change my name to mrs angry, rage against the machine or little miss need a chill pill, as I'm a typical fiery red head and just need a rant every so often!!!
Minniespender, you don't look like you need to lose much weight, lucky thing! I'm still struggling on diet wise, dippydora, I think scales are the work of Satan also, I'm going to try and stay off mine 'til monday in the vain hope of seeing a change!:D

:rotfl: Agreed! Glad you're feeling better neveranymoney, feel free to have rants, we don't mind!

Good luck with your exams MinnieSpender.

Batfink, why don't you do some sort of reward system for losing weight? This way you can still concentrate on weight loss, but also get a 'structured' spend as well. I wrote one up with a reward for every three lbs lost and then an extra reward for every stone lost, but I've only bought myself one reward so far, so I'd better see what else I want from the list! Stuff on my reward list includes a book, a CD, a new top etc. Just make sure the rewards are not food related!

Thanks for the compliment, but the pic isn't me! :rotfl:

Three lbs off though - revision is working!

Good luck all - back at the weekend if I hit my targets!

IS there such a thing as food justice? Just burnt my lip & gum on pizza!! Hope you all OK? Had reasonable day with money (spent 80p on lunch) but food wise a disaster (chicken puff & donut for lunch, pizza for tea..) but did save £400 by going to another vets...

Went to tescos this evening for my shopping (blooming online thing still is'nt working, think there's something wrong with my computer, everything is very slow also) I was glad to get out, this house is like something from the plague! Anyway, I only bought nice, healthy things and resisted the urge to go and lick all the chocolate biccies!:rotfl: what was also great was that I went with my mum and she bought me 2 tops and a few duds for the kids. hurrah!

Anyone else think electronic scales don't work properly?

If I take one of the weights then I've lost 1lb
If I take the weight straight after I've put 2lbs on (and in 5 seconds I don't think that's possible) and the doctors scales are half a stone lighter again.

I thought electronic scales where the most accurate but I'm thinking of buying a cheap normal set now.

Also has anyone used the scales in Tescos, the ones that tell you more than weight outside the loos?

I've never stopped to study them as there's always been people passing and I didn't want to look too interested in them, but if no ones there next week I might have a go as they are bound to be accurate.

I have a problem with my scales too (not electronic though). I am thinking of getting a measuring tape and use it round my thighs, and waist, and bum, and…. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
