MinnieSpender cartwheels onto thread on, tremendous in a pair of orange micro-shorts and an electric blue halter-neck top. She is busting out all over but appears to have recovered from previous ex-uh-cises.
Hi there, y'all! Ah sure hope you enjoyed y'all day off yesterday! Ah sure did! Tonight, ah'm goin' to get y'all blood pumping with a liddle ole ex-uh-cise that promises to improve y'all blood and lymph circulation and stimulate y'all thyroids! Don't do this if y'all have eaten though - y'all be sick!
Puts on suitable stimulating music - in fact, it is a tape of whale music.
OK, y'all! I want y'all to lie on the floor! Y'all goin' to do a half shoulder stand!
Keep y'all hands flat on the floor and bend y'all knees. Bring y'all knees up to y'all foreheads and support y'all lower backs with y'all hands. Once y'all feel fully supported, try and straighten y'all legs, but keep them over y'all heads. Don't raise them up in a full shoulder stand yet, y'all - no need to do any damage!
Now relax and breathe!
And breathe and two and three and four!
And breathe and two and three and four!
And breathe and two and three and four!
And breathe and two and three and four!
OK! Roll y'allselves down gently! Y'all work here is done!
When y'all ready y'all can all stand up and give y'allselves a round of applause! :T

Thanks guys for welcoming me and motivating me. I have a pair of flared trousers but I do need to get something to wear over my T-shirt. I can feel a trip to town tomorrow. But will only get a cheapie one (being DFW convert).
You are all right - a little movement is better than none and who cares what others think. I hadn't thought of dancing around to music at home and I know that I can definitely do that.
Also, a woman in Oz wrote a book about the clothes line exercises. Basically, she was too embarrassed to go to the gym and so decided that she is going to walk so many times along the length of her clothes line at home, away from glaring eyes. She lost a huge amount of weight. So, I think that would be a good idea for me to do as we have a big garden.
I will keep you guys in mind and that will motivate me. I promise myself that I will start this walking regime (I too have a step counter that might motivate me to do just a few more steps) and keep you all posted.
I feel most welcome on this thread and thanks to all of you.

Depends on how fast you do it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Hi everyone! I just wanted to make a couple of suggestions - I've been using Billy Blanks Energise Tao Bo dvd, bought it really cheap from ebay and it's a REALLY good workout, plus the bonus is you dont have to show your sweaty red face to the world! Also yoga is a great exercise to start with if you are out of shape or not used to exercise.
Whenever I've been eating fruit I've also added some protein as it's slow releasing energy and will keep you full for longer, i.e. apple and almonds or mango and low fat cottage cheese.
With the OJ I reckon it's best to eat fresh fruit instead because you will get the benefit of the fibre etc. Lots of weightloss articles I've read have said that juice is really just empty calories so best to stick to water with lime or lemon.
Sorry, this isn't mean to be a puritanical rant, I'm just happy because I lost 1kg so something must be right!
Good luck :T0 -
I suppose others can identify with this statement "I'd love to go out without wearing a coat'
Summers coming and I don't wanna wear a coat!

Depends what you are doing whilst not wearing any knickers teeheehee;)
welcome to all newbies, I love the name Fishface, I am almost tempted to rename myself cowface
Well, I am quite proud of myself as I have not had a drop of alcohol all weekend and tbh that's a really big thing for me. Did have some cheesecake today though. Never finished the whole thing though as too heavy so made OH eat it (in true OS style never waste a thing!)
With the OJ Amos, yeah in school my biology teacher once told us that although Vitamin C is one of the few vitamins to be weed out, a very high dose has been linked to tooth decay as well as increased stomach sensitivity and in some cases ulcers - something to be aware of I guess.
And some words to everyone embarrassed of their size: There are always smaller people out there than you, but there are also always people who are bigger than you. If you go walking down the street, who can say you are fat and lazy? All they can say is "Look at that person, they are doing something about their predicament". And even my instructor for "super fun circuit" class is a round lady. She is fit as though!Three years, six months, three weeks, 13 hours, 48 minutes and 30 seconds. 26011 cigarettes not smoked, saving $11,704.80. Life saved: 12 weeks, 6 days, 7 hours, 35 minutes.0 -
Just been thinking - when I'm at the gym and see much larger people on the machines I have always admired them. I struggle to keep up motivation and I only ever wanted to loose two stones, so when I see people needing to loose a lot more *and* actually doing something about it I just think 'crikey, they must be strong willed'.
Same goes for walking really - if you go somewhere recreational to walk, in my case along the beach, round the reservoirs or up the hills - the same applies - as its obvious you've got up to do something about your problems people support and admire you, its not like its a short-cup to the chip shop after all!
Have a nice day everything today, I'm out all day but I think its a buffet lunch so at least I can pick something healthy.
Take care
Phil0
