That's not on! Such an insensitive thing to say, and i'm presuming she didn't say it nicely and sympathetically?! What bad service!
"embryo in a wonderbra" - have to say that had me in stiches :rotfl: :rotfl:

On the downside.....how's this for a sorry morning.....it's roasting hot here (24C) and I went out to buy some last minute holiday clothes.......everything I tried on was way too tight and I had to take a size bigger which of course simply didn't fit and just made me look like a total sack. In River Island the embryo in a wonderbra behind the counter told me that a 14 was extra large and that they didn't DO my size.....one shopgirl nearly died! I looked in the mirror in one shop and felt the tears coming.....sad I know.
 Silly little girl!! Freebird if you are a size 14 you are still one full size below the national average so for this child to say this to you just shows her ignorance and lack of social skills. If you are 14+ then again she's still showing incredibly poor skills and needs to sort herself out. If I were you I would write to the manager for sure - this girl needs to wise up before she gets a slap off someone.
And, I only presume you are somewhat older than her because of your (very funny by the way) comment about her being 'an embryo in a wonderbra'...but if there is a next time perhaps you could eye her up & down and say "I'll congratulate you if you are only a size 14 when you get to my ages dahling"
Miaow.
Have a fab holiday and I ORDER you not to let those comments get you down, she was bang out of order.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hello all, having a few wobbles in more ways than 1 at the moment. Weight staying at a stubborn 12st 7lb instead of moving down to my target of 11st. Feel the DFW in me is struggling as well lately. I'm 6 1/2 years into my plan with another 2 years to go. Spring is upon us, the weather is nice here in Cardiff, & those damn bank holidays don't help the budget. Like a marathon runner, I need to scale this "wall" of wanting holidays & days out etc & sprint to my DFD of May 2008. "So near, yet so far". That's the end of the moan for now. Cheers all.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

Why, Miss Freebird65, they'll still all be here when you get back with y'all tan!
And as for the embryo in the wonderbra, well, ah sympathise, ah really do. One such silly child once remarked that ah should change ma name to MaxiSpender. Ah tell you, ah nearly practised my box-uh-cise moves on her!LookingAhead wrote:MinnieSpender you've really cheered me up, your posts really make me smile. You have a talent...ever thought about writing a book?? You should.
Why, thanking you, Miss LookingAhead! Ah sure am writing a book - it's goin' to be called "Burlesque and the Art of the Cheese ... and Chocolate ... and Chips ... and Cake."amosworks wrote:MinniSpender, I think you are slowly but surely turning in to our resident Mr(s) Motivator. Ah assure you, Miss neveranymoney that they will soon be gasping in admiration! Then y'all can do the thinking they're all odd!
Now, ah'm goin' to get ready for our abs workout, you lovely folks! Ah suggest y'all do the same!:T:eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

MinnieSpender whizzes onto thread on a skateboard (having lost the ability to shuffle as her butt still hurts), superb in a banana-yellow tight-fitting skin-tight satin catsuit. Unable to stop, she crashes into a wall and literally flies across the thread and onto the floor.
Hi there, y'all! Ah'm sure y'all found the application of Stardrops a little difficult today after yesterday's wonderful bingo wings efforts! Let's rest those arms today and work on our abs!
Puts on suitable abs working music - in fact, it is Smells Like Teen Spirit in a tribute to Miss freebird65 and today's ex-uh-cise.
OK, y'all! I want you to get off that chair and join me here on the floor! Butt on the floor and feet flat on the floor so that your knees are bent. Almost like yesterday, y'all! But today y'all goin' to do the Boat! It's a yoga move, so y'all not only be toned by the end, but in a state of Nirvana!
Now, ah want you to keep your hands on the floor and slowly raise y'all legs so y'all balancing on y'all butts! If y'all can straighten y'all legs, y'all pros, but keep them bent if it's easier for y'all!
When y'all have got y'all balance, ah want y'all to lift y'all arms up so that they're horizontal to the floor!
Can y'all feel it in y'all abs yet?
And hoooooooooooooold and two and three and four!
And hoooooooooooooold and two and three and four!
And hoooooooooooooold and two and three and four!
And hoooooooooooooold and two and three and four!
And hoooooooooooooold and two and three and four!
OK! Put y'all legs down and lie down! Bent y'all knees in towards y'all chests and rock y'allselves slowly from side to side!
Give y'allselves a round of applause! :T
Tomorrow is a rest day! Ah suggest y'all ex-uh-cise those biceps by lifting half a shandy!
MinnieSpender passes out.

I'm pretty sure it is size 16 for a lady. (I don't know about the gentlemen though...sorry any guys out there.)
Great post Minnie - I'm going to try the abs one just for a laugh (I'm wearing a long denim skirt though....might be a problemo). Glad the BF is out!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
