Go Amos...I wish I had the nerve to join you!!
(Although at this much overweight, I know its not a good idea to "feel my fear and do it anyway"(!!!!) - you might hear scary stories about the whole of Central London being put off their muesli as Piglet jiggles her bits and completely repulses the South East of England:eek: !!!!!!).
Go, Amos!!! - I do admit that I worry for you that you are aiming for a weight slightly too low for your build (this is not meant to be a dig at you, by the way - I'm just showing my "maternal concern"!!:p ) - but at the same time I can identify with your feelings (I'm not that old that I can't relate to your need to be slender!), and if you want to lose a certain amount to be happy, then I support you all the way, and I hope you achieve your goal!:D
Go, Boy!!!!!!!!!!!

But so long as they were having a good time I suppose that's all that matters lol
Amos, I highly recommend, nay INSIST, that you go and see a bit of belly dancing! There's a lot more to it than jiggling lady lumps - these women are HOT!
You'll need some serious hosing down afterwards. I guarantee it! :rotfl::eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Is that a promise?
:rotfl::D
If it ever comes my way then I'll give it a go but I sure as hell don't want to be working my way through a kebab at the same time lol
Piglet6: lol well just do it if you want, but you can keep your clothes on until you're happyIt's strangely liberating and you get to meet some *very* interesting people along the way

Trust me, I'll need to keep my clothes on for quite a while yet...!!!:rotfl:
But I do understand the "liberation" thing (I was a young, carefree, "size 12 with a 34C chest" student once!! ). Stick with those "interesting" people... I hope they appreciate you for the friend you are (and from what I have read on here, you seem to be a very mature and sensible head on young shoulders...);)
I hope you find the happiness you are looking for...

Thanks Minnie (bring back that button Martin!!) - will check what my local pool has to offer....also liked the sound of the £20 a month for lots of classes - will have to check around to see what I can find - and look on that website too. There's a gym across the road from me with a pool but at £75 a month, it just ain't gonna happen!!!!
Amos.....you dark horse you....LOL0 -

And on that theme, it was in the paper today that the Beeb are looking for contestants for the What Not To Wear in the following categories:
* Were you a teenage mum? Now feel you missed out on your education and your youth?
* Are you with a man at least 15 years younger than yourself?
* Are you a widow/widower who's ready to take your life in a new direction?
* Mother of the Bride this July or August and don't know what to wear?
Email is whatnottowear@bbc.co.uk if anyone is interested - if you can brave the 360 degree mirror, it would be a great MSE way to get some new clobber!
Hello,
I'm new, well actually a lurker! I have lots to loose and have managed to shift almost 2 stones.
Just reminded me seeing the what not to wear post, I read in the paper that Trinny and Susanna aren't doing the new series, its going to be Mica Paris and someone else. http://www.bbc.co.uk/lifestyle/tv_and_radio/what_not_to_wear/index.shtml
For me, Trinny and Susanna are What not to wear, I don't want to watch other people present it.0 -
It's a good idea to keep a track of your measurements (waist, hips and bust) from the very start, as some weeks your weight loss may not be as good as you'd hope for various reasons, so even if you've not lost much on the scales you may find you have lost inches which can be a boost and help keep you on track

Boo! How disappointing! I'm with you, alibob30 - if it ain't Trinny and Susanna, it ain't worth watching! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

How about Jade Goody? You'll be (almost) running marathons in no time!:rotfl::eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
