Do you do it in a cage?
I think we'd all love to see this, Amos! Details!!! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Amos,
You just know you can't leave it at that.
Are you an exhibitionist then or working as a stripper?!?
Inrigued....

MinnieSpender wrote:It's all relative, isn't it? I'm aiming for about 14lbs (1 stone) initially and then I'll take it from there. It doesn't sound a lot but it's proving a toughie. I've upped my exercise to try to do this rather than obsessing about food (I eat well anyway) and have just embarked on a new weight training regime - it's worked in the past, although you tend to put ON weight initially and lose inches instead. That'll do me!
How did you get on with the FitDay site, Kath? Any use?
It is all relative, you're right! Thanks, made me feel a bit better
I liked the FitDay site - tried inputting the stuff I've eaten today etc. Think it might take some time to build up the lists and figures for the stuff I eat regularly, found a few things were missing (guess due to it being US) and didn't want to guess at an equivalent.
Do you find it takes a long time to enter all the details each day? I found myself trying to count how long I'd spent doing what kind of activity.... then realised I'd spent hours sitting dow doing nothing (on here mostly) and felt a bit downhearted!! So the time to input is really just an excuse cos I won't like what it says. :rotfl:
I think, more than eating, I need to work on my exercise. I've not done my usual swimming in the last three weeks cos I've been with my parents and haven't got around to it:o Am going back to uni on tues though so will get back into it, that's a promise!! I've lost a bit of weight the last few weeks but I'm convinced its mostly muscle!! I feel so much better when I've exercised - happier and more energetic.
Lacking motivation right now but determined to find it again!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

Thank you, MinnieSpender and kathfisch for the wellcome.
MinnieSpender, I shall test my will power with daily 30 min of yoga. I can't belive I am saying this.... LOL starting from tomorrow :rotfl:
kathfisch, I am (what a heck!) 65 kg. 10 years ago, my usual weight was 55kg. So.... what was it I wanted to say? Ah, yeah, recently I was told that it is much easier to leap from 75kg to 65kg, rather that from 65 to 55.
If I lose 5 kg this year, I will give myself a medal0 -

It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you're in the swing of things it gets quicker. Plus you can pick things off the "recent" menu which speeds things up. I wouldn't be too strict about exactly how long you spend doing activities either. It's just nice to have an overview.kathfisch wrote:I think, more than eating, I need to work on my exercise. Once you're back at uni you'll be back into your normal routine. I wouldn't stress out too much about a couple of weeks off. As Scarlett O'Hara would say "Tomorrow is another day!" What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

I think we'd all love to see this, Amos! Details!!!lol well if you really are that interested to know lol I told Queen B about it a small while ago and she didn't seem all that shocked so I was like !!!!!!, I don't really care telling people now. I suppose now it might explain to you why I'm pretty obsessed with my weight and why the people I hang around with at the weekends are a lot more judgemental
There's not many secrets between us all hehe
It started out as weekend fun and when I was spending like 20 hours a week dancing and toned up I kinda just got in to it with the other dancers and they encouraged me along, so when I got in to their group I started doing it at the weekends with my now housemate (but she has a bf before you start asking lol) and then it just got more serious. I'm not really a stripper or anything but I did an interesting video once
Pretty much naked dancing on stage in front of loads of people having a great time. What else is there to say? lol0 -

If you're happy, we're all happy. But yeah, tis a laugh and a good way to make some dosh if you don't mind that sort of thing.
But it just someone jiggling her lady lumps about while people are eating makes me want to shudder a bitBut so long as they were having a good time I suppose that's all that matters lol
