  • Well its finally happened, Some of my trousers are loose :T :T :T :T :T

Not all my trousers mind you. I have to wear a uniform for work and i was down to my last pair and they were getting blooming snug, i was really beginning to depair.

I havnt posted on this thread since near the beginning, as not a lot had happened, but it seems to be all of a sudden. I did a detox ( not good for everyone ) 5 weeks ago exactly and have been eating well inspired by the OS board, no ready meals for me, ive even been doing that exercise thing!!!! but still nothing. Then at the beginning of last week i began to think '' these feel a bit loose'' by the end of the week i could get 2 hands down them ( ahem ) :A

I havnt got a clue about how much i weigh, i was only doing it by how my clothes feel and this means ive only got another 2 sizes to drop :j

I just wanted to say to anyone thinking not alots happening in their weight loss, you may just be like me and it takes a while ( 5 weeks in my case ) before anything happens. Keep at it. :D:D

Do you have how many songs written by women that have the word "love" in?!? I guess it was a pop song, so the first one that comes to mind is Candi Staton - You've Got The Love.
I remember now it was Groovejet, still cant remember the name of the song though but i expect someone will

Thats the one. Actually you might laugh but it does work and is more fun than jogging and it improves your dancing skills.

Well done to the AlmightyCorgi! You'll have to change your name to SlightlyMightyCorgi now! :j

I agree with that last point too - it often takes your body time to adjust to a new way of eating.

    Never give up!

Here's another way to crowbar apples into your day:

Cooking apples (or eating apples if you can't get them - although they don't give the same texture)
    Cinnamon
    Nutmeg
    Cloves
Raisons/sultanas/currants or other chopped dried fruit
    Lemon juice
    Honey

Peel and core the apples. Chop into chunky pieces.
Put in a pan and warm with the heat on low.
Add cinnamon/nutmeg/cloves, dried fruit and lemon juice - to your own taste.
Allow to cook slowly stirring occasionally.
When done, stir in honey, again to taste.

    Nice hot or cold.

    Ideas:

    On porridge for breakfast
Have a blob with natural yoghurt
Serve as a light dessert with a dash of cream or custard

Yeah I remember it now :) Haha sniffing poppers makes you jig faster

My OH was at a club once and said some guy got stabbed with a broken bottle or something and the DJ kept playing Sophie Ellis-Bextor's "Murder on the dancefloor" hahaha
