Can't afford W Watchers or anything like that so i'm doing it myself

i do ww but don't pay for it, really all u need to do is goto one meeting and get the info and a book or two and then u have everything to do it,

Also use the ww boards as they are very helpful and it has a search bar to find pts etc.

vvv good i have lost 75lbs doing it and love it!

    Hi Everyone

Can I join in this lovely thread please, I have just booked a holiday for Oct so need to lose some weight or i'm not going to enjoy it, I'm definately not going to bare anything on a beach at the moment.

I have lost all the weight twice before 6 stone and put it all back on  It was hard work and I completely changed my eating habits, but the last few pounds were slow to move and I didn't reach my target, which I think makes a big difference. This holiday is just the motivation I need to get started. I used to very slim, but weight increased along with the debt, anyone else find this? my main problem is chocolate and I work from home so theres alot of snacking happening.

Overall goal is 7 stone, but whatever I lose before the holiday will be a bonus. I'm not really prepared this week went shopping yesterday and bought junk so will do my best, and will get prepared for next week.

    Hi all,
Another applicant for your group, please.

    My main problems are:
    - being 46 now so the weight doesn't shift as easily as it used to
    - commuting 2hrs a day by car (no option to do otherwise)
    - CHOCOLATE!!

Just found this thread & have read it from the top. I'd already decided to stop the choc on 1st April & go cold turkey but its haaard. Not many food vices other than choc - serious habit costing £/day - but being 14st2lb and 5'3" is not a good look.

Wedding of work colleague coming up 8th July, an am determined not to go in this state.

First step: declare car a food free area

Morning all! (and especially welcome to all new members of the cuddle!!) :j

Well, I haven't been on over the weekend (2nd job - did 2 x 12 hr shifts this weekend, so no time for surfing the boards  ...but good for the DFW-ness!! ;) ) and wow, how we've grown - excellent!

Just wanted to say thank you for the welcome everybody gave me last week, and to let you know that I lost 4lbs at my weight watchers weigh-in on Friday :T , so I was very pleased...although I did rather indulge with some chip butties on Saturday evening :o , so need to get back on the wagon today so I don't let it all slip back on...! :rotfl:

Good luck to everybody for this week. I'm off to update my signature because I've just realised I don't have my FFW stats in it! :D

Hi everyone and welcome to all the new joiners!

Was slightly naughty over the weekend, had chocolate and crisps... but I'm nowhere near as bad as I once was - it used to be crisps, chocolate and other junk every day, so I feel ok about having them once a week at the moment.

My next weigh in will be Wednesday or Thursday. Depends when I will be visiting my Mum as I've been using her scales. Stops me from obsessing and jumping on them every few days, as I would if they were here! Will also take my measurements, just love to see those inches disappearing! :D

Well done on your loss piglet!
