    Thank you freebird!! :)

I'm down 3lbs since last Sunday (now 11st 2lbs) so that's boosted me to stick to being "quite" good this weekend. But I'm only 30 once and I doubt I'll ever have all the people close to me together again. Well, unless I actually get married! So, I'm going to make the most of it and have a fantastic night.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Have some cake for me. Erm, maybe not ;)

  • Well done Batfink you are doing great and well done Sammz & happy birthday!! I'm trying to summon up the will to go for a run as not done much this week.....
  • Sammz - hope you had a great birthday!

All - Only 1lb off this week. I blame the chocolate (yup, you girlies will understand that one! Never touch the stuff normally - honest!).

Migraine all weekend - feeling sick and unable to eat, so next week's weigh in should be a doddle!

Feeling better now so am off to find the vacuum cleaner!

    Have a fab FFW week!
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

I am needing some encouagement to lose weight. I like most overweight people have tried lots of different regimes, lots of times but don't seem to make any long term progress. I am so good with money and organised with other things but just can't seem to get myself sorted out diet wise. I could do with someone to chat to when I am about to be bad or to give me a warning when I am on my way out. I belong to Scottish Slimmers on line. Does anyone use them for chatting to??

Welcome Whizzing, chat to us, everyone here is very supportive, even when you need to give yourself a bit of a break.

Just been on a lunchtime health walk and weighed myself on the way back. Lost another 1lb! (must update my sig). Really pleased as we had Little Bro's wedding on Saturday, I drank too much and had a hangover feeding frenzy on the Sunday! :j

I've stopped cycling for the winter as it is too dangerous, there are a few undesirables who lurk on my route, plus even with lights and a high vis jacket I feel very vulnerable. _pale_

I am however dog-sitting for my brother until 17th November, which means two walks a day. Plus I'm not socialising as I have to get back for the dog. I'm planning a weekend of a couple of long walks each day and working my way through little Bro's DVD and music collections. So I'll lose weight and save money. :j

Freebird, my sweet, I have it on tape.

A bit worn out now, but still watchable!

  • Hi folks I like the look of this thread and will join you for a wee blether if thats ok. I attend Slimming world weekly and I know we are trying to be money savers but I reckon what I dont spend on junk food I use to pay for my class. I have been going for 4 weeks and have lost 1 stone half a pound. Am well chuffed. I lost loads with them before but then stopped smoking and put on a massive 5 stone  Never mind I'm saving the cash for 30 ciggies a day and much healthier. I WILL deal with this weight problem again as there is no better feeling than downsizing (and I dont mean house or car!!):rotfl: Be good everyone xx
  • Welcome to the cuddle, Shazanne - and what impressive results!

You'll fit in here just fine!
