There's £20 off 3 months online just now so I only paid £40 and that should get me where I want to be. I have managed to save points from yesterday and I'm on track to have 4 left over today again. I usually drink alcopops but will stick to peach schnapps and lemonade instead!

It's only been a couple of days but I'm liking online. What I need (and got with esource before) is the points tracker. It makes a huge difference to my eating. I'm online all the time so easy to keep it up to date.

Yes....have to admit the tracker was a major factor in showing me how many points I was snacking between meals......scary stuff! :D

Things like peach schnapps are LOADED with sugar and "empty" calories.....if you can, stick with things like vodka and diet coke or tonic....not perfect but better......

Think I might try the online thingy.....only get two weeks so best I make them count......that's if I can find the voucher again. :D

Vodka makes me sick and I can't stand tonic :( I will also have a couple of ciders as, although they have about 3 points a pint, they do last me for ages! Thankfully I'm not a big drinker so the odd splurge won't make me feel too guilty.

I'm going to try and avoid that problem. All of my friends, family and workmates will be there  so don't want to make a complete fool of myself

    Hello ladies,

I'm here! I don't think anyones ever missed me before in my whole life, I feel quite honoured. Thank you.

I'm really glad you're all making progress, I was really getting into my weights and had a 2nd session with the trainer to advance my program....but then I've not been since and that was about 2 weeks ago. I've been having a few work 'issues' and just felt like spending time with my family rather than going to the gym. I will get back into it though, just not yet....

    Thanks lovelys, take care.

    Phil - welcome back.

Get back to the gym when you're good and ready. But don't leave us again. Else we'll cry.

    ;)

  • Hi Everyone,

How are you all doing? I weighed myself yesterday, trying to do only fortnightly. I've only lost 0.3kg this fortnight, but I'm just really happy I haven't put any on!

I didn't cycle at all last week, had a weekend with my girls, which involved food, chocolate and alcohol. And was that yucky time of the month so I ate a lot more. So that's not too bad.

I'm back in the saddle again this week and I've bought my 80% Green and Blacks chocolate bar, which will be strictly rationed to last the fortnight. I find a small chunk satisfies each day's craving quite nicely. :EasterBun

I visited some colleagues who have not seen me for some time and they all said I look like I'm wasting away, I think that's stretching it a little as I'm still over 10 stone and I've not grown any taller. :rotfl: But it has spurred me on.

I also joined a very nice running club on Monday, and I'm aiming to start running once a week, then maybe increase to twice a week. It only costs £10 for a year, I think that's a bargain.

I let the nice man who took me to dinner down gently, as I'm just not ready for any kind of commitment at the moment because I've not decided what I'm doing with my job/life yet. He was very sweet about it. It was so nice to be taken out to dinner though.
